Ah... My manga is a bout a young boy(Koi) who leads a life of an average teenager with some minor kinks in it. He meets a woman (Rion) who shows him a fantasy world he had once belonged to in a past life. Rion has come to him in hopes that he could hold memories to the mystery of his death as a God and the disappearance of his wife and the staff of Phanes( septure that rules the universe). The story begins showing koi and his two friends( Giovani and Dion). He meets Rion ( his apparent new roommate)Who seems to know more about him then he himself knew... It also introduces Koi's struggle with disappearance of his mother as well as introducing Rions struggle to obtain the secrets Koi's former life holds.

Hey.

I'm interested in the artwork. I feel that you can do more, a lot more. You've already made the pages look like a manga because of the shadowing. Also, somehow your art reminds me of the art in the Image Comics comic book The Maxx by Sam Kieth. I don't know why though. But yeah I think if you really focus on creating manga pages you'll be an instant hit at least here in the Amateur Manga forums.

The story is also very nice. I've found myself attracted to themes and elements like the ones you present (God, a past life where you are a very powerful being, etc.). I want to read more actually.

Hope we could see and hear more of the manga.

By a lot more do you mean better? Or more as far as the story going. I have 15 pages, those are just the ones I have inked, scanned and edited.

Yeah, you can say it as such. But by no means the art is bad. I wish I could draw like that and make it look nice still, but I always want to make my drawings look more.. finished. Maybe I'll post a drawing or two for my own manga story I posted here that's now probably rotting in a corner, just to give you an idea.

And yes, I want to read more of the story. The guys here have spoiled me a lot about the details of their stories, even though sometimes they couldn't post a lot of actual manga pages; that's what I like about them. I'd appreciate it if you post s'more of yours.

Oh I see. I am not good at finishing, I'm really just into sketching and its a huge struggle for me to actually come out with something that looks finished; so I understand what you are saying. Thats probably way I have 10 different drafts of this particular comic, I just can't seem to follow through and be happy with my work. I decided to post and force myself to stick to this one so I could at least get a feel for it.

Actually the sketching style comes with its own charm. I've been able to remember a certain anime that uses the sketchy style sometimes but pulls it off rather nicely. It's called Noein, I think.

And I understand the struggle with the finished look. It takes me upwards of 3 hours to make one page look finished (I only use your basic pencil, rulers, erasers, signpen and black color marker and I'm not really a good artist, that's why) And my final products aren't as awesome as I would have loved them to be. The erasing alone, ugh... I sometimes ruin drawings because I rush erasing and the page gets crumpled.

And yeah, some manga look unfinished at times but the results are still great. I'm referring to a certain manga a certain Togashi Yoshihiro draws. This manga is currently in hiatus, and is currently driving a lot of fans irate. I aim to at least... attain 10% of that style of his.

And hey... 10 different drafts? That's an awesome amount. Maybe that sheer number is what's frustrating you? I usually work on one page and determine that each page will not go to... waste, or at least, will see the light of day as a finished work.
