Now.. fast and dirty spoiler:

Entirely filler. It's all about catching Isaac, the anime original character. The preview shows their childhood days. The non-manga story ended already within this ep, so let's hope that they just wanted to wrap up the story with this introduction but it was still entertaining.

Involved characters: Ed and Al, Mustang (wet XD), Hawkeye, Hughes (alive!) and his family, Armstrong, King Bradley, Kimbley (still in jail), Father (only a moment), Lust and Gluttony (just preview-like at the end), ... not sure about the timeline of this ep.

Wonderful, close-to-manga animation. Some familiar voices, some new ones. OP/ED tracks are so-so (good for anime but nothing for my mp3 player) but the animation is awesome in both cases. Background music is nothing special so far but that's all you can get for a first ep. The 'changes' are overall acceptable, I think.
