Now With the latest chapter 511, we are all aware of the imminent threat towards Naruto. So I'll give a brief summary and move on to the bulk of what I have to say(maybe reveal?).
So Madara has obtained a new power, that of the legendary doujutsu, The Rinnegan. With this he has the power of said Rinnegan combined with Sharingan (which we have yet to see the effects of), as well as high ranking pawns, namely Sasuke(EMS), Zetsu(Who knows what else he can do) and Kabuto(Oro's form and EdoTensei). With so much ammo at his disposal he's decided it's time to capture the Kyuubi, otherwise known as Naruto. So with Narutos Jinchuuriki status at threat I've decided to highlight Naruto's seal (yet again).
Many people in the spoiler discussion are debating wether Naruto would lose his newly gained Rikudou Mode via a Kyuubi extraction, and though I won't be bringing that up too much here, what I'm speaking about is really a product of thought from there.
While thinking of how to justify why Naruto would keep his RM, I came to the question of why 'Madara' would seek out Naruto first? Why not seek out the 'Other half' Minato described. The half that has seemingly been sealed into the Shinigami. Surely it would be an easy task for the second coming of Rikudou no?
Eureka!!!
That's when it hit me. Minato claimed he sealed one half inside himself and the other inside Naruto and I won't for one second claim that's not true. But if you think about it carefully who do we see inside Naruto when the 9th tail was about to be unleashed against Pain? Minato. Why/how could Minato (from inside the Shinigamis belly) appear within the realm of the seal? Both Father and son have the same seal, so what I'm suggesting is that they are essentially linked to the same realm. So Minato had the Yin half of the seal, and Naruto the Yang so he could overcome the will.
SO the whole Kyuubi already does reside within Naruto, and what's suggested in the manga is that it's always been split in two. Since Naruto's directly connected to the Yang, as he encountered more hatred etc. the Kyuubi found it easier to leak his will through when Naruto tried to draw on the chakra. If it was the other way round Naruto would have the physical chakra to draw from and would've succumb to the Kyuubis will instantly.
So with that I would conclude that Naruto would indeed continue to use RM even after a Kyuubi extraction as the chakra was always intended to be stored separately from The Kyuubis physical self inside interconnected realms within Naruto. It's likely that the chakra (yin) half can only be externally extracted via Minato himself who is long since dead.
Please give feedback good and bad, I've always had thoughts on this but never really came to such a precise conclusion, feel free to carry on talking about the implications and so on.
I just hope I've helped some of the confused.
