I would assume that if NN did go after me for revenge, which isn't certain, that it would probably be done by now. If not, then I don't know what to say.

Well, everyone hates kdowns for signing up for games and then not playing. Does NN have a specific reason to hate kdowns that's more than that and the fact that kdowns is annoying?

I just think it was a coincidence. Or maybe he picked up on your tendencies from past games and noticed something different.

No, not that I'm aware of. I actually think they're rather close otherwise. He pisses everyone off by playing that way. The first game I played in, the Pokemon one, he actually played like others did. But ever since then it seems he just plays absently and does the bare minimum to see where that gets him. He said it was a "strategy" before. His whole argument in bringing up how they play certain games at mafiascum and that it works this way was just bizarre to me. We're playing on MH, not whatever game mode he was talking about.

I'm always somewhat cagey on the first day and as no one was posting when I was on, there was absolutely nothing to talk about. NN even performed some doubletalk. On day one, when I accused him of twisting the situation, he goes, "Oh, acting like you normally do (spamming, being an idiot, stuff like that) because that's what people do outside of the game means that they shouldn't be voted for." In Day 2, NN goes, "Oh, acting like how you normally act doesn't mean that you're not suspicious." If you think that that doesn't mean that NN had an axe to grind, then I would say that that's not true. Moreover, he refused to reply to a PM I sent him the next day, which also implied that he apparently desired revenge over me killing him in the Arrancar game.

Coincidence is overrated. There's usually a cause behind actions.

Well, I used to get along with NN quite well, but after I killed him, we don't seem to get along as well as we used to, so take that as you will.

I've honestly thought that we should ban kdowns from playing, especially as he screws over Mafias, which he invariably gets selected to be part of, as they basically start a player down.

Apparently DD buys into mafiascum as well, as he'd linked me to that to describe the role. The version there was better than the version I got stuck with at least.

In the end though, I was mainly disappointed that I didn't get to try out the gimped Serial Killer, as it's not as if I expected to win.

I will be interested in the next that game that Evil hosts.

I think you're overreacting. There's tons of incidences of contradiction throughout the game, some just goes unnoticed.

DD buys into the role description, he linked everyone to that I think. What I meant is that there are different game formats, and kdowns went off on a tangent for some odd reason.

I'd say that it only looks suspicious because it was Day 1. If it was later on, there'd have been no question that it was just a normal attack.

I think you're placing way too much weight on what people do on the first day and I would have thought by now you would have realized it's a total crapshoot, regardless of the reasoning to it...if there's any at all.

Not that I read the game, so my apologies in advance if this is a waste of text and not actually relevant to the situation.

In general the town should stop random voting halfway through D1 at the very latest though (really it should be earlier, but is dependent on how many hours a day phase has etc.). The longer you stay in RVS, the easier it is for the mafia and third parties to blend in without effort which is counter productive for obvious reasons. So even if there is not much reasoning, there should be some. In fact, even RVS votes should have some sort of reasoning behind them. Tone and whatnot are perfectly legitimate here.

The mafia has the burden of information, so you should try to use that to your advantage when evaluating someone's content, regardless of whether it's D1 or D5 content. In general, don't underestimate the impact D1 has on the rest of the game, not necessarily in whether you lynch anti-town (which is definitely helpful), but rather what basis you create for information gathering.

Re Mentor: 3rd party roles aren't meant to have the same chances of victory as town or mafia.

But seriously, he was lynched on day 1 for not a random reason. Niichan analyzed his few posts and pointed out something that was legitimate, whether it was intentional or not. Because of that, I was better off following SOME line of reasoning rather than none at all. I'd be annoyed too since there was bandwagoning thereafter, but it's not as if it was over something as stupid as him referring to "we" when talking about the Townies too much, or not at all. That's a very common thing people will point out that usually means nothing whatsoever.

It didn't seem to throw Oni off, however. He instantly cloned himself and went at it. Moreover, as it doesn't split until it hits the court, ostensibly, you could even prevent Byoudouin from using it if you volleyed it back, although it's not as if Byoudouin can't return your 10 ball attack, if you used one. When he used Pirates of the American, the balls seemed to split in different directions, as opposed to the one area attack of the normal 10 ball tech, but it didn't phase Oni at all. I suppose that that could be because Oni is so awesome.

Yeah, Oni is just that much better. /explanation

Yes, I am. Ronaldinho's penalty was awful, Luis Fabiano's old and slow, Neymar is just as limited as always, and Oscar's still not really creating.
