imagine having 7 slayers with most of them being on regent’s level and Luslec at the head of it with Baam as the secret weapon.

i believe we can openly support FUG again.

I hate FUG as an org. I like Karaka though, Yama is cool as well and so is White. I was never fond of Jinsung and his treatment in the story irks me more and more.

I still wish to see Baam leave them and create his own org or something.

Same here. He is in dire need of a powerup though. Fug can get bent. Their is no redeeming that failure of an organization.

Yes, what they did to Baam is horrible and I don't like their ideology. As an organization they suck, but some characters stand out. Hoaqin is an edgelord but he is the fun kind and to me still the best antagonist of the series by far. I didn't like Karaka at first but he grew on me.

I like FUG overall. It’s the concept & portrayal of the Slayers that’s been Meh….

So maybe…With the latest chapter, we seen Yama go from being useless against Dumas. To Destroying Proust’s lighthouse Barrier…..So owned by #3 but shown up #2….In pretty sure I’m wishing upon a star but I would like SIU to give better context to power ups, but I doubt. It’s just a stupid boost because he took a cat nap…Context about The Pot’s effect & The Fang power finally activating because he’s rested, like something besides just showing us he slept in a Pot and now he’s way stronger lol.

So Yea, it’s the Slayer concept that will make you look at FUG like timeout, Nothing was ever going to get accomplished without Baam, they come off very delusional after seeing Where Slayers rank within the Tower….It makes sense why they haven’t been obliterated or hunted down. They aren’t a real Threat to the Jahad empire or any Great Family. Just a minor nuisance & annoyance.

Can someone tell which slayer belong to which generation and with their potential at best their ranking? Like Karaka right now is at BH at most. But with his overall potential can be CC for me.

Luslec - 1st Gen

Yama - 2nd Gen

Karaka - 3rd Gen

and there isn’t really a way to tell their maximum potential, but the gist of it is that they might near Luslec’s level considering how much stronger Yama got just now.

Every known slayer have a potential to become a threat for FH.
Yama - power of ancient. We do not know much about ancients but i assume that with strong host they can become more powerful than other types of Shinheuh.
White - if he manages to absorb top-20 soul somehow.
Karaka - as a descendant of Zahard he should have plenty of room for growth. I am pretty sure he will become much stronger at some point.

How ranking is decided? Like we know there are 7 slayers out of 11. Then why isn't karaka number 7? Do they decide on first come first serve basis? Why are they keeping the vacant slots relevant?

'Again' would imply that I ever did to begin with. Never forget what they did to Baam during those parts of Season Two. Fuck 'em.

My stance on FUG is largely unchanged as well, sadly.

I don't like them. To me they're edgy to the point of being sort of embarrassing to me. Kind of like Megumin is in Konosuba but unironically in this case. Like Demon, I can probably pick out individual characters that I don't dislike but it's not many. Just Karaka pretty much. And even then I like them better as villains, I think.

After their history with Baam and all the crappy things they've done. I can't imagine any future where I am rooting for them in any capacity.

hmmm, yeah, to me fug is largely all over the place. A ragtag group which luslec didn't work too hard to keep united or in check which acted as an erratic evil religion through the tower. Jinsung being retconned into a big softy and perhaps being changed by bam took a lot away from the group IMO. I see karaka as largely unchanged for now. Maybe he has a soft spot for bam festering somewhere in his shriveled heart but I still see him as someone that could melt a fool for profit. Yama surprisingly turned out to be a lunatic with heart of gold.

I feel like there's a bit of a misunderstanding regarding what SIU aims for fug. This is just my opinion of course but I can't look at the story and think that SIU intends for readers to side with and support fug. Fug is literally an erratic evil religion. And their role in the story is to face the empire... which is also pretty much an evil religion. My guess is that once bam knows a bit more about the past and becomes powerful enough to become worship worthy we'll see folk who resent the empire rallying around bam's power to some capacity and formally or informally make up a group which readers are actually supposed to root for.
