A bit disappointed, a bunch of dialogue explaining how the PC's technique works, and then Iori even has to pretty severely injure himself in order to defeat him. Well at least the battle was over quickly, I am not a fan of when Gamaran has fights lasting over 3 chapters or so.

I think Iori was pretty badass in this chapter. The speed and the power of the attack could not be stopped by a simple blocking at all!

That's an interesting chapter about the technique of the PC. We can see that Iori does not care about himself but I hope the fight won't be finished by this blow. One another chapter could be good for finishing this PC if not Iori will appear as the best of all guys.

Don't know about that, just last chapter Iori was hyped up to be this insanely strong beast fighter who could quite possibly challenge Jinsuke whom we all know is on an entirely different level of skill from everyone else, but this chapter Iori in order to win maimed his leg. Wounding your leg like that will make all of the other fights that much more difficult for him now.

arent you underestimating the PC a little ? he pretty much one-shoted a PC , is it really that disapointing ? and kamedenbou prolly meant -he could surpass jinsuke one day- , not right away as soon as he gets serious

no, yes, yes, who knows.

with that wound he pretty much has ensured that he wont be able to beat Jinsuke this arc regardless, and will struggle mightily with any advisor/PC he faces. That is unless the mangaka decides oh stabbing the meat of your thigh really doesn't have any negative side affects.

well i think defeating jinsuke is gama's job anyway ,i dont think its possible yet but i dont think this manga is close to an end either

they are fighting against a huge army together with the advisers and personal corps , it would make no sense if none of them got wounded

Gama for sure, but who knows on the ending. This arc if no other fighters from say another continent or something aren't introduced then this could be the end.

Indeed. I loved how he won. He was overpowering but Yousuke didn't make the opponent look like a noob. This is one of the reason I like Gamaran so much.

That's sure Iori is really strong, he is injured now so he will have more difficulties.
