Still surprised Hughes maes (Fma) hasn't been nominated (not only Maes, but no Joichiro from shokugeki (cook +redhaired ) Sanji or shanks (cook & redhaired ) from op, no minato or shikaku (Naruto), no ryo saeba (city Hunter) to quote only very mainstream manga/anime).

I would gladly have nominated Jochiro or Maes if a 2nd nomination wa ok, but

Actually Genma Saotome (ranma's dad) is the very definition of selfish, he is a terrible father and husband. He's also one of if not my most favourite character in the show xD all the episodes which he takes part of are crazy funny lol

I also remember hating on his love interest, Hakruko, like any typical fangirl would do for her husbando Other girls around me preferred Rukawa to him, though.

I also had a crush on Vash when I first saw Trigun, but I was older and rooting for him and Meryl to end up together.

that's nice! most girls probably preferred rukawa over sakuragi.. I like sakuragi better than rukawa cause he's such a hardworking guy and such a bad-ass. I like the episode where he fought Mitsui and his boys. Especially the part where he just let that big guy hit him and then comment "a fly...another fly and so on" not to mention when he took revenge for all his teammates and then when it was for rukawa he just like poked him.

I watched slam dunk mostly because of hanamichi.. I liked haruko but not to the extent that I have a crush on her. just her personality and character as a whole. I think hanamichi deserved to be with Haruko after everything. just like vash with meryl

after watching the vid.. Kamina's actually pretty cool. He's sort of just like vash or even better in some aspects.
I've only seem the vid WYIS posted but I think Vash has more charisma

Believe me my friend the video is not enough...If you watch episodes from the actual show from 1 to 8, then you'll come to really measure his awesomeness and understand why he is one the best written characters of that type I've ever seen.

P.S: Kamina was the only reason I watched the show actually, plus I wanted to see how Simon would turn up...When he died...it was....
