it's only those 4 fillers in November or when it is because they are leading into the movie that airs in december. that's really going to be fun I think, even when the timeing is a little suboptimal.

Wow, yeah, I didn't even know they'd feature that story in the anime (even though it's filler). That's gonna be cool as hell. Also, since they lead into the movie, those episodes will probably feature a lot higher quality animation than the recent ones.

Hahahaha Zoros part was hilarious!! She dont wanna let him go either because she dont want to be alone and i think she likes Zoro!!HAHAHAHA!! Zoro searching for the door hahahaha!! Well well he has to learn a technique to resist her hollows! And Luffy as a ladysman is hilarious too. Hancock is looking down on the wall hahahahahaha shit this is so cool!! I hope she and Luffy come together.

That's really cool. Among the marines that went to MHQ were some of G8 marine base : you know, the commander of the base is friend with Aka Inu. That was a story added in the anime after the Skypiean arc.

Jup i felt the same way. Commander Jonathan is such a cool laid back strategist its great to see him again! I hope we will see more of him because he really is a good guy!

Good points of this episode
- Hancock still reacts to Luffy having females on his crew. To think the Pirate Empress has become deranged? Frankly she's making more noise than Luffy is.
- Zoro becoming the new "Bearsy."
- So the Long-Arm Tribe, which was featured in the serials, has some importance in this episode?
- Brook says "wow" after seeing the guys' underwear.
- The ending.

I must say that I really enjoyed One Piece episode 421. I think it was actually the best of the Crew Whereabout episodes even. Zoro being dressed up as Kumacy was utterly hilarious and rather unexpected also. I was very glad that there was little to no filler in the Brook part also as there really wasn't anything that could be done with that one easily. Impel Down begins next episode and I am hugely excited to see that as it will be awesome.

I for one am also looking forward to the Movie 10 tie-in episodes as hopefully they will be good. Also it will just be nice to see all the SHs back together again. Hopefully though I will be able to see Movie 10 relatively shortly after the episodes because I just know the episodes will add to my excitement for the movie.

As much as I liked commander Jonathan, him being on Marineford just means that there are going to be some Marineford fillers. Hope there aren't too many of those. I could live with one episode showing Marines preparing for battle and discussing strategies. Ace climbing to the stand is probably going to be prolonged. I expect it will be the same episode.

Oh yeah, Zoro missing the door made me laugh out loud. I like when shit like that surprises me.

Just saw 422 thanks to Funimation's streaming deal. Have to say that I actually quite enjoyed this episode and am expecting great things from the Impel Down Arc. That being said there was quite a bit of obvious soft-filler in this episode. The last full minute was especially bad for that I thought.

I must say that I never expected Hannyabal to have a green/yellow headdress although I'm not sure why it surprised me. Hannyabal was also utterly hilarious with his "My" stuff. In fact I found it far funnier than when I read the manga.

Final thought is wow they really made Impel Down look like hell when they did the quick scan through the prison. The skulls with spiders (or was it rats) in the needle-needle grass of crimson hell looked especially sweet.

Can't wait for the fun to begin in 423.

- When Ace says that "he and Luffy have the blood of the world's most infamous criminal in their veins," it was assumed to have been Dragon. After it was revealed who Ace's father really was, as well as the lead-off sentence where Ace takes his mother's name, it could be assumed Luffy is also a relative of Roger.

- I LOLED when Richie was thinking of eating rather than about Buggy. Apparently they have no food on their ship. Also the little cartoon of Buggy's crew being eaten by a Sea King.
- We get a nice long imagery of what Impel Down is about.
- The end of the episode was meh.

I liked the new music they started playing. its pretty different than what was played before. you can feel a bit more of tention with it. I hope they will keep that kind of music and not just switch back after the impel down ark.

I agree. But I guess it is a matter of time. We will get used to it. Not that he is a permanent character rto begin with.

Im somehow confused, I rly thought the anime studio would drag the whole after SA defeat arc a bit more. Luffy is already in ID. Somehow it seems the anime is awfully near the manga. They will propbabaly fill in fslachback episodes, simialr to Enis Lobby arc.

There is between 30 and 40 chapters difference from quite some time now. Between the 3 disbanded crew episodes and the movie 10 fillers, it will increase a little but not that much

One Piece Episode 423

The episode starts with a recap you would expect from Bleach (2.5 minutes long) of the events that transpired within the prison.
As usual, Hancock just has to have her little fantasies with Luffy (even some sort of wedding scene and Hammock montages) before they part.
Hannybal's reactions to the "body search" are funny, even bleeding out of his nose.
Again with Hancock's delusional attraction to Luffy...
Hannybal explains the mechanics of Impel Downs Levels 1-4; Hancock finds out that Ace is in a level lower than 4.
Luffy arrives at Level 1, Buggy gets chased by the Bluegoris, Luffy meets with the Level 1 prisoners, Luffy finally meets with Buggy and fight as they are getting chased. Luffy and Buggy fight the Blugoris.
