I just want to see Kizaru kick some pirate ass. I think the speed of light kick is the my favorite attack in the manga.

Oda is in close contact to the anime staff, so don't worry about that, they will get it right

The anime tends to follow around the same trend as the manga; 1 chapter being used for 1 episode of the anime.
But I really hope that they pick up the pace a bit in terms of the plot.

If the gap gets shortened then a longer filler term would follow. I usually don't watch fillers, so I prey it stays for a while at 1:1.

I really don't want a filler arc unless they're planning something as good as g-8 then that's fine...but now they've gotten to the point where it wouldn't really make sense to add a filler arc. What would probably happen is that we'll get a few fillers at Amazon Lily(really stretch it out) or maybe they'll even think about animating a cover arc; I'm hoping for the CP9 or one of the "Where are they now?" cover series

just started watching one piece cuz its at this sweet part but fillers would be pretty ghetto here. have they ever done a cover arc um arc before? because it would be difficult to incorporate the characters. unless they pull a bleach and like just go on like the hueco mundo arc didn't happen.

just started watching one piece cuz its at this sweet part but fillers would be pretty ghetto here. have they ever done a cover arc um arc before? because it would be difficult to incorporate the characters. unless they pull a bleach and like just go on like the hueco mundo arc didn't happen.

If you mean cover arc then yes, they did the Coby and Helmeppo cover stories which were episodes 68-69. They did it after The Strawhats left Whiskey Peak so they could easily incorporate that.

What they could do is incorporate something like that whilst Luffy lands in Amazon Lily.

I don't think they will be incorporating cover stories like that- they had a perfect chance to do that with Hacchan. Furtehrmore if they would add something that diffrent I fear the flow of the story would be disturbed.
However depending on how Oda wants it there is some material that could be extended, but please keep in mind to at least use spoiler tags when talking about events that did not occur in the anime but in the manga, so that you don't spoil people over here!

About this episode I think it was pretty good. Unlike the manga it made some things very clear. Also it was a fine show of the powers that both Kizaru and the supernovae hold, which will be continued in the next episode.
And Finally Sentomaru is in the game too, a bit late but hey he'S there sitting on the top of the building eating peaches

Really cool episode, great action in this one. I actually like the fact that they threw in some extra fighting between "Team" Kidd-Law and Kumabot. It didn't really open any possibilities for plotholes (except perhaps Law's crew's fighting style) and it left us in the same spot as the manga, plus we got to see more interesting fighting. ^^

What I liked about this episode is that it really displays how the supernovae's powers work better than the manga did (Hawkins especially). It's getting exciting now.

I did not notice last week, but it seems that they managed to make 3 chapters in two episodes. long time it did not happen.

I also liked the filler scenes. Like Organizized what I like about the anime, it's how it helps you notice things you missed in the manga

Also about Kizaru being shot without him knowing he is targetted. We had the discussion many time in this forum about how logia power work but I feel like this scene contradict the one with Ace and Smoker in Alabasta.

ah man, I was expecting to see some fighting, not surprised faces! there was so much streaching! (not even luffy). but the fighting parts where pretty good. and whats whit that kwyyy noise that they keep puting to show somebody special? so annoying! cant wait for next episode, should be some fighting. and drake seems strong. and I was disapointed that they didn't show the guy watching kizaru arrive on a cannon ball. was looking forward to that.

yeah, it seems they haven't found anything other than that soudn to use for haki, impact dial and now kizaru's kicks.( correct me if i'm wrong but they are the same sounds right???)

I dont mind the use of it particularly, it's not decide whether or not I watch the show.

Next episode looks good, I really like the pace it's moving at...

ummm, as far as I remember the sound of Haki is very diffrent. they would be pretty stupid to put the same one there

I liked this episode. Sure there was extension of episodes, but I liked it. The switch between Giant and Polar Bear was great.

i also liked the episode a lot.
now it's clear for everyone who still believed that kid and law fought the real kuma. they aren't!
it was really cool the rookies in action! capone's ability is really wierd~~~ and drake seems rather strong to kick the pacifista like nothing.

and haki is a different sound. that "kwyyy" sound is every time there's a beam.

this one helped me understand a little more on how hawkins actually withstood the kicks and that laser from kizaru. i only read that chapter a while back and was like wtf. just can't wait to see more from the strawhats and the pacifista.

drake is starting to become more badass after that kick.

The anime revealed us a lot of things in this episode.
First, the one Kid's crew and Law's crew are fighting is not Kuma, it is a Pacifista too.
Then, we learn more about Hawkins' ability : he uses the voodoo dolls even with men of his crew and the damages are the same with the voodoo dolls and the people, what was already supposed. So, I guess, he can created voodoo dolls of everybody but we do not know how and uses the principe of the voodoo to hurt people. And in the anime, it shows clearly that what he uses to carry the playing cards of his trick was his voodoo body.
And what about this Gear 2 : for the first time, the anime uses a Dragon Ball Z sound for Gear 2 : when the saiyens transformed into super saiyen.
And what about Urouge ? In the anime, it seems he got a DF because we see he really change his body.
