Loool that episode was nice... the Filler scenes seemed ok to me and Im lookin forward to the Crews adventures. and finally we saw senoku and garp again
Maan that seen with Luffy and hancock when she told him that she can hardly walk was a perfect pattern for a ****** Doujin loved that one xD.

It was better than last week's episode at least.
We're finally starting to move towards the Impel Down arc... Or are we?
Next episode shows previews of Nami and Franky's adventures (which are mostly filler because some chapter pages and 2 cover pages can only do so much).

How long does it take before they get the subbed episode out on Hulu? I just found out they have the latest episodes there, and I want to support Funi's efforts, so I plan to start watching them there, but I'm curious if anyone knows how long it takes them to post the episode. Plus, I think their translations would be more accurate.
Forgive me if there's a thread about this somewhere. I scanned around but didn't see one.

oh my lord was that a good ep. great pacing and everything, very satisfied. i just hope the rest of the impel down arc is this good. i love the song they played during Nyon-baa's convo with Hancock, i'm not sure it's a song they use in the show normally but i recognized it from the intro to the, in my opinion, best one piece movie 6 (baron matsuri). and seeing garp talk to ace, thrilling.

OMG! Did Luffy just did what I think he did to Hancock? He is one lucky bastard! Yeah, I notice everything in this episode is sexual I was surprise to see this in OP a anime which alot of kids are watching in the world. Especially the part where Hancock says she'll allow a strip search on her...ouch! I jump at the scene. lol!

Yeah, I agree. This is a bit off topic right here but One Piece is unedited compared to how butchered up Dragon Ball Kai (the show that it leads off with).

It's extremely rare that the anime doesn't follow the timeline of the manga, the only times I can recall are :
I don't see any of the cover story in the preview. Nami is always on sky island and it seem that franky has a little filler story. I guess that we will have another set of episodes who corresponds to the cover stories at the end of next arc. And until then we may know a little more what as happen to them.Doesn't seem as if they're putting some of the cover story pages into those episodes, would they? If they did, Zoro and Perona's two pages already should have been in the manga since there's a break this week. I just wonder how they gonna stretch those minor entries in the manga (two or three pages per mugiwara) with fillers. Or is there some break in the anime broadcast as well?

Yeah, and this episodes was well drawn Hancock look way more beautiful than the last few episodes. I hope it's like this all the way.
Well, we all know now that the 500 pirates Kizaru captured were not the Supernova's and they weren't sent to Impel Down. And when Luffy and Boa gets to ID I hope they'll have that running gag of Luffy making funny noises and almost revealing himself to the marines just like what happen here. That would be hilarious.

It's getting more erotic as it goes One Piece Anime indeed. Nami bath scene is a nice addition. Btw could Luffy getting matured like Hancock dream off . And I don't believe what the Barjimoa doctors did to Franky

why not, there was something similar in Enies Lobby when chopper send him several type of beverages. Also, it realised it was not ok. But as soon as he get some cola, everything will get back to normal. Anyway Vegapunk lab preview was not about the cover stories as I had understood from reading some others posts.

Yeah but I expect Franky to have a llittle adventure about 3-4 minutes and finally reaching vegapunks lab then its going to switch to robin,sanji, Chopper or usopp. It seems that they show what happened after their landing but before the original coverstories.

That was a funny ep, I laughed quite a few times during Franky's portion. The animation was kinda poor in my opinion but it did the trick (I only pray they're saving the big guns to animate Impel Down, hehe).

What confuses me is that they didn't even add in the cover story portions, as far as I could tell. Which is odd because I had just assumed that Oda-sensei had started drawing them when he did in order to time it perfectly for them to be used in this portion of the anime. Kind of a shame really, would've been pretty amazing to see that much coordination between the two media.

The interaction between Luffy and Hancock was wrong on so many levels. Even though Luffy is 17, he has the appearance and personality of a 10-year-old. And what is she? 30-40? They even had her fantasize making out with him.
The episodes themselves had a somewhat varied plot from the serials (i.e. circumstance on how Nami finds out about the Wind Knot, Franky not finding Vegapunk's place).

I can't agree however that Luffy's personality is of 10-year-old. He is sometimes childish, careless and plainly dumb, but he also has personal qualities that place him above the others. He is respectful, modest, there is wisdom in what he really cares about (nakama, family, dreams, promises), and he gathers strength for and from defending these things.
Anyway adventures at Lily are over. They were great (except for fillers), now to wait a month for Impel Down...
