Wasn't that much of a realistic episode (Luffy, Zoro, AND Sanji getting beat by one guy?). But it was still good, the music syncing was nice with the episode.

Yeah, seeing the straw hats get chumped by noobs is always the most painful part of fillers for me. I think that's why G8 was so good; they acted ridiculous and didn't try too hard, but they didn't look like chumps either, they were always in the game.

Yup, one of the best filler arcs was G8.

Meh it was an okay episode, didn't like them getting all beat by just that Amigo-idiot.

I wish I could be in Japan and understand Japanese 2 weeks from now *_*

I liked this episode because it was heartwarming to see little Yoko find and raise Boss. Of course, I agree with sarutobi-sensei. Largo defeating Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji with nets/cages? That just ain't right!

They added a sexual reference in the episode : Robin won 69 times in poker ? Chopper didn't have his hat here but a headband. That episode was cool and it is better drawn.

I agree. Never really liked the plot of this arc. Never really liked the filler pirates in this arc. Could care less about some girl whose Marine father died. Don't see why Kinjishi would need some half-dead beetle and send generic filler pirates after it for a good 4 episodes? If this filler arc is to really "present" the movie, I have a bad feeling that the reprecussion could downgrade said movie.

Yes when you watch at the trailer movie, the target audience seems to be much older than the one of this fillers episodes. I have the impression to see warship island filler again which is one of the filler I like the less.
Also since we spoke of covers a while ago, there might also be a reference to chapter 529 one.

Yeah seriously weak stuff, expected much more. Slow pace and lame main-villan. Animation was also kind of cheap occasionally(as ever). Should have not gotten my hopes up I guess.

Didn't really enjoy this weeks episode. That net df is just so stupid imo!

Boss transforming was cool, I like the new colour lol! hahaha that 69 sexual reference was funny, they put that in very nicely!

More specifically, I hated how Largo's DF completely owned the Monster Trio. If Luffy is unable to use his rubber powers even while trapped in the barbed net or Sanji couldn't kick away at a metal cage this late in the game, it really does not show a good example of how far they have come.
Largo said that Boss' transformation was incomplete; if that was incomplete, I want to see exactly what he SHOULD have looked like if he molted later.

-_-'.. Why are you complaining.. what I got from this chapter is that the ami-ojiisan is not a regular filler vilain who is 1HKO'd he is in an other league... I would say he is at El Capone's and Urouge's level.. is DF is pure pwng.. but luffy could and can avoid it.. he just didn't try to..
some gear 2 would make him avoid the net.. and he could break through it..
he just didn't feel like it!
6/10 in for this chapter

Luffy and co kind of fight on the scale of the enemy they will most likely stay netted till the enemy reveals all the details or the rest of the crew show up.

next episode is the last one dealing with movie preparations.
afterwards it should be back to normal, but we don't know for sure yet - one of the few cases wikipedia is a remotely good source for not japanese speaking people

I wonder if Luffy will go into gear to face off with Largo and his stupid net DF? I'm hoping he can do the job without it!

Hopefully, after the decisive battle episode they'll go back to Impel Down!!! I can't to see Luffy, Buggy, Bon Clay & Mr. 3 together there are going to be so many funny scenes to look forward too!!!
