I doubt it is some stupid secret. IT must be something SERIOUS!! whether its where he was born or the history of his family or even the fact that he worked for the government before not that he was a girl but then became a MAN!!!

A lot has been said about Ivankov's knowledge of Crocodiles secret; whether it has to do with a sex change or whatnot. I doubt it's something like, but I don't rule out the possibility of it having something to do with Ivankov's devil fruit abilities. In StrongWorld chapter 0, during Roger's execution all the future pirates present were seen from a front profile, whilst we could only see Croco-boy's back. Coincidence?, "that's jo-incidence with a C" , no but definitely something to do with his face...

who knows maybe during that time people don't take women pirates seriously or either they had a hard time becoming top pirate and croc had Ivan changed him/her into a man.

I watched it in the early hours of this morning. It was a good episode, there wasn't a boring moment at all, The only thing is Funimation spells BB's name as "Blacbeard Teech"? 1. Do they know that BB is his nickname. 2. Why Teech and where did they get it from?

Good episode, i liked the pacing, we're getting closer and closer to the real deal, can't wait anymore.

P.S : I think that they should have used the music of the trailer of GTA the ballad of gay tony in the episode where Ivankov and his lovely okamas were dacing and singing on the stage

sorry to disappoint you but there are no coincidences in Oda's work :P

Episode was ok and Shiryu's voice is as terryfying as pain/paintheme in naruto which definitely rocks

Really good pacing on the episode, it was epic even with all the flashback and un-needed parts such as hanyabal remembering the names and faces of everyone of them xD

Luffy saying to mr1: oh so I don't know him didn't have the impact it had on the manga XD on the manga he was like oh so he's a nobody xD

Croc was awesome as always even if he was just there for some seconds XD

and all the mob going trough the bridge xD

Iva's face was fucking huge xD

Really good. Can't wait for the next couple of episodes.

This easily topped as one of the better episodes of the Impel Down arc.
There was just this perfect level of epicness in both the drama parts and the comedy.
My favorite part of the episode was when Hannyabal was freaking out and they showed the sketch pics of all of the criminals on each of the trouble levels.

Judging from next episode's preview, we certainly won't be disappointed.
I'm glad all of the boring transistion episodes are over with; here is where the real epicness is about to start.

Everyone is rating this week's episode as one of the best?

I personally thought ep. 444 wasn't particularly great. It was ok. The best part was the ending where Shiryuu was released from his cell.

BB's entrance was epic in the manga but I didn't feel the same way with the anime version. What the hell is up with Lafitte? He looks really odd imo lol. I really hope the quality of the animation drastically improves asap, preferably before the war starts on Marineford...

The SA arc was dope. What the hell happened to the anime quality!?

Buggy*Fly's right. Lafitte flying scene was not good at all.

And what's their problem with the pictures ? Instead of doing a video - COME ON It's an anime ! - they've put several times some colored drawings. It's too bad.
The part with Shiryuu was good (when he draws his sword) but still, it's another example of this new trend : when Shiryuu attacked the gaolers, it was bad : they did not show the attack and only put an image (with a lot of shadow) meaning they were getting cut.

Somehow I have to agree.
the anime quality dropped and is really cheesy since SA arc.
There are some parts that are nicely done, but most of the parts that are s'pose to be epic like in the manga aren't handled well in the anime.
I really just don't feel the climax as well as I do in the manga.
I hope for major improvements when it reaches marineford arc.
Oh yeah, and sorry for comparing, but it looks like this april to july is going to be big for the top 3.

and one piece heading to the war.

I have to agree with Buggy*Fly and Lord Rayleigh.

444 was ok.

I really prefered 443.

I can't stand Hannyabal anymore. In the manga he amused me , but in the anime he really bores me as hell.

Well his "real name is Marshall D Teach, so they must know his name as well as his nickname.
Seems like news his appointment to Shichibukai has traveled quickly.

This was really a well paced and organized episode... that's the OP anime I love....

Today's episode was alright,
but it still feels really slow , iono there maybe putting more emphasis on something else later but this part of Impel Down arc should be more fast pace than the rest of the arc.
