As Akainu wrote up there, it seems that the battle will continue. This would be a lousy time to break the story with fillers after all. If any time, they should be used after the battle ends.

We would have one "rescue Mr. 2" arc after another, because that poor guy sacrifices himself nonstop for the others.

Good episode. Not fast paced but the build up is nice

Hmm, I was under the impression Shiryuu was a head or two taller than Blackbeard. This episode depicted them as about the same height.

All in all a great episode and I really liked the scene showing the participants in the upcoming war.
Oh and... I don't know who said that there wouldn't be Filler now... Next week we'll see a Nami and Franky Filler xD (but it seems to be more connected to the cover story than the last time)

War will start in anime at the end of june I guess.

This episode was average, Pandaman is too obvious
and of course, Buggy, annoying as always.

I found that buggy part was nice, after all it was the main point of the corresponding chapter. I was more annoyed by the den den muchi call which was streeeeeeeeeeetched a bit to much for me.
Concerning the opening song I suppose it will last until we cath the spoiler contained in the current one. That would match the length of a traditional opening (~40 episodes)

Good episode, looks like they keep stretching so they can deliver us an epic battle.

So we're going to see what the SH are doing, good. I miss them.

The denden muchi part, damn that was freaking long!

just drove me crazy.

It's gonna be interesting to see how they're gonna stretch out the SH's stories even more. I also wonder if they ask Oda about what he has in mind for the crew's side stories other than the few panels he's drawn.

So it seems we're getting four episodes of fillerish Straw Hat cover stories. Ah, if only they bothered animating the other ones I'll be so happy. As of right now, they seem to be following the same order as the previous set of episodes (Nami/Franky, Chopper/Sanji, Robin/Usopp, and Zoro/Brooke).

This week's episode was meh. OVER-stretched imo. XD

I was expecting more amusing scenes tbh. I thought there were times where some scenes felt awkward...well to me anyway.

We have to wait a bit longer now *just under a month* for the showdown at Marineford. The second part of these "SH Whereabouts" episodes better be damn good.

nope the guy who gave his voice to bon-chan(Yao Kazuki) is giving his voice for just two more characters, to franky and jango

^ I'm almost ready to bet money on that he provided the voice for that character. I'm also pretty sure voice actors aren't credited background fodder like that. But I may be wrong.

That absolutely was Jango's/Franky's/Bon's VA doing some of the background voices. Not hard to recognize his extremely distinct voice no matter how he tries to play it. Like Organizized pointed out, background voices and nameless goons simply aren't always going to be listed in an actor's credits.
