About crocodile and jinbei discussion, i did not realised it when i read the chapter but it seems jinbei ability to speak with fishes is really unique among mermen. I have the impression it will be an important fact in the future

I hope Oda won't change it permanently, since it sucks and doesn't fit his cola-powered image. Franky is so far the one around who the anime created the biggest filler gap since he was never altered in chapter 524 (which has already been shown in the anime, so it's not a spoiler :P)

Still watching, but Nami sounds different. Either I haven't heard her voice for a long time or they change the va. She sounds a bit weird now

Yeah, Franky sounds a little weird too..
But I liked this episode more than many other fillers...
However I wonder if Toei has taken some liberty in embellishing the story a bit.
I guess either way it adds a bit to the overall story..

More than anything it was cool just to see Nami and Franky again..
I'm really starting to miss the SH...

It was a nice episode. I think they showed a bit more of what we would already imagine from Nami and Franky; it was nice to see them again.

I'm hoping they won't show the "thing" Franky saw in Vegapunks lab unless it was something Oda wants us to see. Would be pretty lame for the filler staff to add some lame looking cyborg who was supposedly left behind to protect Vegapunk's stuff.

Can't wait to see Zoro and Perona !!

Good to know that Nami is the first to decide to return
however she wants to stay and learn more too.

The cover stories din't gave me as much info as the anime just did.
Looking forward to the next 3 weeks.

Yes, finally their was some little more information than in the cover. I suppose they work closely with Oda wrt this points since it is touchy stuff. In particular the fact than Nami wants to stay longer to learn about the weather. I wonder if she can use the knowkledge of the flying boat so that franky can make such a device for the thousand sunny. After all there is an empty spot

Also I think I remember that there was a joke about the cotton candy being made of clouds but I didn't find it. Does someone know where it was ?

The Nami part is EXACTLY how they should do the filler, Franky's part could have been better. It's nice that they revealed how Nami is going to get back and I think her decision to stay on the Island was the right one. If you think about it, it's way safer to travel in the sky, it could be faster, if the wind is strong enough and the journey won't be for nothing. I can't wait for Robin's story, because we might get more stuff about the RA.

Well Robin story was one of the ones, like Franky, where they add fillers so I'm not expecting that much.

Nice episode, we saw something about some Mugiwaras, i don't think they could do it better without revealing what Oda doesn't want to reveal, which i suppose it's the progress they all do.
Plus Franky in TTGL mode is pure win "Ore-sama wo dare da to omotte yagaru!!" I knew everything comes from those super glasses xD

I actually think the 'thing' inside Vegapunk's lab is a clone of Franky. :O That's why he says "what the hell" instead of just acknowledging that, yes, the alarms are off and no doubt security is on its way and the thing in front of me is security.
This will give the kid and wolf/dog some action time fighting their own clones (assuming that upon entering some sort of clone machine automatically makes a cyborg-look-a-like of them).
Pretty wacky, I know.

Either that, or just some really odd-looking cyborg.

Nami's part was cool but nothing really happened with Franky. We already knew about the animals. I thought we would see new technology.

you really expected somethig going much outside the coverstories? I mean it's filler, yh. but they can't stroll as freely and they didn't with Nami either, so I kinda miss the point here. We even saw Franky overcome a cola shortage which could be not intended by Oda like that - but well, let's see what the others will get to

Weee~ell... It may be just a filler but Nami's part was good and even nicely animated. They made a nice little story around those two-three single panels.

Franky's part was IMO simply to wipe the mess Toei created with that filler. That second part was less than mediocre, and the little boy and his little cyborg dog just have way too much screentime... But finally Franky looks normal again. What a relief...

I'm just waiting for the cr*ppy team to mess Robin's story ... again.
