The conclusion to the main storyline in Inazuma is underwhelming, but I wouldn't say anything else about it has dipped.

Chang the Ninth is more memorable than inzauma in its entirety.

Plus, Honkai Impact already made them pretty damn wealthy.

Yeah that's why I didn't really entertain pulling on it. As good as the sword is, that catalyst might be the most specialized weapon in the game right now. And even then, unless you insist on building damage on Kokomi, Thrilling Tales and Prototype Amber are better choices.

I found most of the story insufferable ngl. Like they had planned the cool Guoba / Zhongli bit for months, then locked the whole writing team in a basement to pull an all nighter to force as many characters as possible into the story in the most irrelevant way possible... and they ALL talk too much.

Well, I had the same issue with the first part but there was no Guoba

Like they had planned the cool Guoba / Zhongli bit for months, then locked the whole writing team in a basement to pull an all nighter to force as many characters as possible into the story in the most irrelevant way possible... and they ALL talk too much.

...it was a cheap way to introduce him. makes it seem like the only thing noteworthy about him is his relationship with xingqiu.

i may have replaced him gameplay wise (...) but i was still interested in him as a character.

Has to be one of the more confusing banners. Childe is the first 5 Star to get a second rerun, but he's easily in the bottom 5 as far as revenue goes. The 4 Stars are identical to Ayaka's banner, which was only 2 months ago. I saw a lot of people anticipating Bennett rerun in 2.2, but if he's not on Childe's banner than it seems really unlikely to be on Hutao's since Thoma will already be on it.

The new bow is supposedly really good though.

Was kind of leaning towards maybe pulling a bit since I don't have Childe and he's the only Hydro dps in the game, but this banner is such a dud otherwise. Don't think I will.

More passes for me. Don't like Childe. Definitely pass on the bow using cat boy. I sort of like the Arataki Itto character's design but a claymore using, non-waifu, and Geo. That's a hard sell unless he is crazy strong.

I think I'll do my regular "single daily roll" for this banner, since while I wouldn't mind getting Yanfei to C5 or C6, I really don't care about getting Childe or Chongyun any higher.

Not sure about the new Geo characters, probably should focus on getting Zhongli fully leveled.

Mediocre??? I mean, he's not very interesting to play, but he's an S+ tier support. Put him with any characters that scale with ATK and he's disgusting.

Yeah I'm stuck, I'd really like to test using Childe with Raiden and Thoma looks like he might work beautifully with him as well. But I'm a sucker for Geo units and since they're such a rare occurrence I don't want to miss out.

The issue though is since HoneyImpact said they're not covering closed betas anymore after the current one, so detailed information on Itto and Gorou and any new units after that might be sparse. So it'll be more difficult to judge the value of the current patch's banners with stuff coming soon.

The buff his Burst gives can snapshot into other unit's abilities, so the only thing you'd miss out on is the healing. Which can also be annoying for sure when needed, but yeah. It's not like it's completely useless if you move out of it.

Geo is at a disadvantage in boss fights as their structures constantly get destroyed. Albedo is spammable though so kind of less annoying in other situations I guess.

Bennett wasn't very popular when the game was first released tbh, so I think Abyss Mages and the like doing that was just to counteract static fields in general, not just him.
