Yeah it's true, but I personally prefer it over perfect i-framing fights to never take damage. The content in Genshin generally isn't difficult enough to where that kind of thing feels especially rewarding. Shielding isn't just about blocking damage, as it preventing stagger is pretty important depending on the character.

It should. Although I always feel like with action type games there is always more of a limit on... not so much the level of difficulty but the kind of difficulty. Especially PVE games like Genshin. Which has disadvantages but the one big advantage it has is you really don't need god tier stuff to get anything done.

To me the fun parts are the exploring and the building of characters. It just needs to keep giving me reasons to do those things.

Yeah you don't, all you need is time (or money to make it shorter lol). And I think that's fine, in a gacha game feeling powerful should be the gameloop. Who gives a shit about balance etc.

I had just gotten done ascending all of my characters and then pulled Yanfei on the standard banner, the only 4star I'm missing. Got her 3 free wishes and was close to pity on the standard banner so I used 10 or so primogems to get there and got.... another Skyward Spine... Never spending primos there again.

I'd definitely go Widsith there. She doesn't need that much ER really. Especially since you have Ei who between the electro resonance and her burst eases the burden quite a lot. I currently run mine with 146% and it's plenty. I suspect what your going to want more than anything is as much damage as possible over that ER.

I forget what my crit stats are but she can do quite a lot of damage at C0. With the skill dishing out 8kish per second easily and consistently and the burst adding a fairly massive chunk on top of that. Your going to want those crit stats.

That was my logic in using the Solar Pearl, increasing her Crit Rate. Unfortunately she's sub-optimal due to the fact I really don't have any artifacts that grant both Crit Rate, Crit damage, and electro bonus.

About the boss. I can kind of see what they would be a pain. Whoever is breaking that pillar gets energy drained almost every time. If there is a way to dodge the shots that come at you while you're doing that I never found it. Healer getting drained can be a bit problematic. Just got to account for that I guess.

The only other tip i can think of to share is to not kill one of them too quickly. Because most of the damage comes after that. So if you kill one when the other is almost dead as well. The remaining one starts that next stage with no health and you can one tap them with a burst as soon as it starts and avoid all of that nonsense.

When I did it all those times I'd use Keqing, Eula, Ei, and Jean. I had wanted Keqing to get drained but Eula got drained most of the time anyway.

That's why I have been depending on Noelle, as she doesn't need her burst as much as the others, and she tends to heal off most of the damage dealt to her.

I was originally doing that, finishing them off at the same time. But recently I fount that taking out the cyro one allows me to burst the electro one down pretty quickly with Yoimiya or Xinyan before that much damage can be dealt.

Actuallly just started maybe 15 days ago, at Adventure Rank 28 and World Level 2,

I have only one 5* weapon, and no character, is there some secret strategy, cause I want a few 5* characters.

Which weapon did you pull? What banner did you pull it from? If you pull a weapon from any of the character banners, your next 5star is guaranteed to be a character. So it's really about just building pity. Pity isn't shared between the event banner(s) and the standard banner though, they're separate.

Yeah that's the standard banner. It's permanent and the only new additions it gets are when a new 4star gets added to the game and it's release banner ends. That's not a bad first weapon tbh, depends on who you have/use though.

The game frequently has multiple rerun banners per patch now, so while Albedo, Childe, and Xiao have had reruns already (Childe twice even), it shouldn't take as long for them to come back probably.

Aquila Favonia is one of Bennett's best weapons. If you have him you should definitely work on leveling that up ASAP.

Also, with 2.7 delayed, it seems like we'll be getting some free stuff weekly until it finally drops. The Ayaka and Weapon banner also don't have set end dates yet either.

I'm on AR40 and just finished the whole Shenhe interlude chapter...how it has the best anime cutscenes of the game this far is mind-blowing also the bossfight was great. I don't understand why it doesn't have a trounce domain.

If you're using Razor as your main DPS, I'd recommend using Kaeya for Superconduct, it boosts physical damage a lot. I'd probably go Razor, Kaeya, Venti and then maybe using Lisa or Xingqiu depending on how good your electro particle generation is. Geo Aether is decent, but long-term is really mostly useful paired with other Geo units.

Kazuha rerun has been rumored for 2.8 for a while now, so I guess it's kinda due. This Heizou is drip marketing for 2.8 as well since the beta will open soon. So I guess him being an Anemo 4star would possibly fit well with Kazuha rerun, unsure if it'll be the same banner or not though.

Apparently Heizou is the first male Catalyst user too, so I guess that honor won't end up going to Baizhu or Scaramouche after all.

Not Genshin, but it's a new game from Mihoyo. The trailer is well done, so I'm kind of intrigue.

Been revisiting Genshin for a bit recently, as that seems to be how I play it now. Intermittently.

Didn't really care for the Chasm storyline and the whole new part of the map basically being a cave is kinda... The entrance looked awesome but is sort of a pain to navigate. Then again it may just be that the last few Inazuma zones looked so visually impressive that it's hard to be compared to that.

Did get my Qiqi built. That violet grass collecting is rough. Not as bad as dandelion seeds but still really something.

Will start the character quests to get an understanding of characters before doing the new event.

Don't use Crimson Witch on Bennett, use Noblesse Oblige (if no one on your team uses it already since the buff doesn't stack) or Emblem of Severed Fates. And if it's a matter of him just not having a set at all, it's best to just use any pieces that have his best stats, which are Energy Recharge (up to 180% or so), Crit Rate/DMG, and Atk%. Crimson Witch 4pc is a damage set, and Bennett is best as a Burst Support that buffs your team's attack based on his own attack stat while also healing a bit. Crimson Witch is really only preferred on Bennett if you have him at Constellation 6, which should be avoided generally since it limits what teams he can be used in due to Pyro infusion overriding all other forms of damage.

I have her, she's pretty unique/interesting. People were kind of hyping her up in leaks as a 5star replacement for Xingqiu, but that doesn't seem to really be the case since her hydro application and utility isn't at his level.

I had accidentally built like 50ish pity on the last banner after getting Ayato because I was trying my luck at getting his weapon and pulled on the wrong one... (didn't get his weapon but ended up getting Elegy of the End twice instead which is one of Yelan's best weapons) So yeah, I didn't have to spend too many pulls and won the 50/50. I figured that the worst case scenario is I'd get the guarantee for whoever is coming in 3.0 or 3.1. Definitely going to want to save for the Dendro Archon Kusanali.

You have a good weapon box going for the future. Atlas is good and Amos is pretty niche, but I find it kind of hard to believe you don't have a good Wolf's Gravestone user. It's a top 1 or 2 weapon on every Claymore user iirc.
