I was recently re-watching some of the grand magic games arc and i noticed something that really troubled me, and no matter how much i think about it i can't think of a good explanation as to why it went the way it did
If the future rogue wanted the eclipse gate to open and he was telling princess Hisui how the grand magic games would end with all of the FT members still standing to help verify that he actually was from the future then i have to ask WHY?
why on earth would future rogue try to kill Gazille by possessing the current rogue? if Gazille hadn't ate his shadows and lost the fight the princess would then doubt his claims.. i really cant make sense of this
