I think most of the Spriggans are more powerful than the 5 DEs we've seen so far. God Serena's 8 DS element were pretty OP I can't see Madmole winning(who knows?he may have an element that can counter the 3). It's saddens me that he didn't had the chance to showcase them.

So far,the DEs were underwhelming right now. Let's see if Madmole,Skullion and CooCoo guy can defeat Mira,Elfman and Wendy before we can say that DEs deserve the hype.

God Serena can't even hurt Madmole though. Madmole tanked Natsu's FDK attacks with no damage at all.
Madmole's offensive capabilities were also compared to base Natsu, who was on par with the likes of Jacob, which should be enough to damage God Serena.
God Serena's power was compared to the likes of Ajeel, who was beated by Erza and later Elfman. I'm afraid God Serena can't really do much.

It took 4 hits for God Serena to down Jura, Madmole tanked a Demolition Fist to the face without damage. It'd take an hour for God Serena to give Madmole a little bruise, let alone defeat him. The only question is if Madmole can hit harder than the GoI, because God Serena is pretty durable too. If not, this is gonna be a long, looong fight.

Except all Spriggans aren't the same.

Gray got beaten by Invel in his regular form and needed Darkness powerup to defeat him. Does that mean Gray will lose to Ajeel ?

Natsu , Gray and Gajeel in their standard forms would lose against Brandish and Dimaria. Does that mean they lose against Ajeel ?

Remember the Spriggans were regarded as a huge threat because Ishgar thought other from the top 3 remaining all Spriggans are as strong as Serena. This was before they knew Serena got stronger and trained in Slayer magic. It was already known Jura is still a level below the other saints. Apart from Warrod ( whose magic isn't suitable for combat ) , Hyberion and Wolfheim were stated to be a level above Jura. The Jura who was on par with Tartaros Laxus. He was the weakest of the team. And Serena stomped the shit out of them. The team would be like ×5 times stronger than Tartaros Laxus. And considering the way Serena stomped them , he was AT LEAST twice stronger than the entire team. That means Serena would be AT LEAST 10 times stronger than Tartaros Laxus , actually even higher considering he stomped them. And I don't think even Laxus has achieved this yet , forget Ajeel who got almost oneshotted by Laxus. The historia of Serena at a small fraction of his power managed to injure Gildarts. ( even if he went down after that ) The magic power released by the historia and Gildarts clashing overwhelmed Wendy , and not only that , he even held back Team Natsu and prevented them from advancing ( holding back is a very good feat for a historia. )

Natsu's gone through numerous gauntlets in the series at this point and that rarely affects his performance. He's literally the person with the greatest endurance in the series, barring maybe Erza. I highly doubt his fight with Gajeel affected him differently.

Also, that one little statement Wraith made doesn't change the fact that Natsu had trouble even harming Madmole and was forced to use an FDKM attack to deal the slightest amount of damage that he ended up shrugging off.

Unless God Serena can produce flames as hot as Natsu can he’s not doing much to Madmole. Hell he might even have other elemental defenses besides fire. The fight will go on forever until one of them runs out of mp or just gasses out.

Madmole can no sell x793 FDKM Natsu's attacks. How would Serena damage him?
I don't know if Serena can replicate Natsu and rely on heat, since he doesn't have FDK flames

The fact that both other times Madmole was damaged was off screen doesn't help either. It really seems like Mashima didn't know how do damage this dude on screen

GS doesn't scale to Laxus' feats just because they wield the same attribute ? Madmole withstood FDK, so I don't see how GS bypasses his defenses. That said, his offense is still complete cheeks. This one goes either way.

so i am going with serena on this.

spriggins aren't weak by any means, its just mishma poorly executed using them.

I'm not sure what you're on about but Selene has given us the best feats in the series in terms of scale so no there's really no reason to doubt DG=Acno. It's normal to disregard hype when characters fail to live up to it. GOI are trash.

Lol? irene enchanted FH out of mavis's body which is infinite and dropped deus sema onto the earth at FTL-FTL+ speed casually and it was heavy enough to create continental-multi continent sized shock waves

acnologia ate the ROT and destroyed the dragon cry in his human form before ROT amp with just one hand and on a whim which is multi continent+-moon level for being at least 24x stronger then etherion which is continental

phoenix was about to one shot the entire planet

yeah no, selene doesn't have a better feat

God Serena has good versatilty but it's not like it will really help him to get past Madmole's defense.

I know that he was somehow damaged by Mira and Elfman but it was off-screen so I won't count it until we get a reasonable explication.

He can just let him exhaust himself on him.
