Weeell, kinda...I'm still not sure whether i'll include the sketchbook or not. I will, probably.

Errr...It's basically human kids living the animal life. That sounds too shallow, though...hm. Well, I already have the storyboard, so I might post it. Though I'd prefer posting the finished product. Only need to draw it. (:

Yeah, I plan on finishing it within the next two weeks....if everything goes well that is.
I want to draw more things with crucifixes...It's interesting how people react to them.

Not yet as not many have seen them. My girlfriend is disgusted by them and some other people think there's some meaning to them. It's like art. People are just going to give the artist credit for complicated symbolism and meaningful messages even though all he did was draw two strokes crossing each other.

Forgot to scan the rest of my sketches. -___- Now they're in my portfolio. Either way. Here is some schtuff.

Great stuff as always. I like the use of different textured fabric/paper to base your art; it gives it that slight edge, as can be seen on the first pic.
The second piece evokes some Princess Mononoke/Tekkonkinkreet feels; the former with the character design and the latter with the art style, though with some distinction.

I guess as people, we always choose to over-complicate things, which is evident among people that examine art pieces. Most artists, like you said probably just drew two lines crossing each other, no thinking too much about it, and now suddenly people are adding meaning to it.

Yeah, it was a lucky accident. Was messing around with effects and ended up with that.
You're dead on. That's basically what influenced this picture.

And that's alright. Just another part of art. It makes most things pretentious, but it can be fun as well.

Don't know Fujiko. /shot It's from this page I drew in 2011.
Cool! Thought nobody would see they're nipples.

It isn't. (: Don't know, she's creeped out by strange symbolism. I watched Evangelion with her (the first movie) and she was like "Why are there crosses everywhere?? And why are they called angels?" and so on.

Yeah for your standard, this pace is fine. It's not like back in the day when artists uploaded work every week or so. This is good. Googz, I'm sure you'll do well and get good results. If any of the work you've shared is anything to go by, I'm not even worried.
