Theory Gyro and Meteor City

I think Gyro will take control of Meteor City. The question is how will the Spiders react?
Will they join forces with Gyro, not care and do nothing, or will they fight back?

However Gyro with Meteor City at his control would become EXTREMELY dangerous.

Why?

Because the reason the mafia stopped going after the Phantom Troupe is not the Phantom Troupe themselves but the residents of Meteor City. If the mafia managed to kill the Phantom Troupe then they would have to deal with the residents of Meteor City who in the tramp
incident there were about 30 residents of Meteor City who suicide bombed about 30
people involved in the wrongful conviction of one of their own.

There is about 8 to 10 million people there.

Imagine going up against 8 to 10 million suicide bombers.

Plus if Gyro can make them to into Chimera Ants too...

Yeah, I think this is going to make the Chimera Ant Arc look like a fairy tale.

Sigh. I meant like how the Queen eats a person like Colt and then they become a Chimera Ant. It's not an exact transformation but it's close enough.

It's hard to decide just how Gyro will deal with Meteor city. I mean, he is looking to be king, and Welfin and the others did decide to search for him there, so it's a possibility that he'll try to take the city as his own. He'd have to make a lot of changes, though.

Oh, and that would mean that poor Shal would either be killed or lose his ability ;-; (Since Gyro doesn't seem to like technology too much, creating a world where it isn't allowed, and Shal's entire power being based off of a phone)

Gyro doesn't not like technology. Remember that whole no-tech thing was
just a cover up for his drug operation.

Though I do think Shal is gonna die. It's gonna be one of those "Join me or die" type things and I don't see any Spider...hell not even Hisoka joining Gyro willingly.

And, ya, Shal's probably gonna die soon ;-; As for Hisoka, I wouldn't put him out just yet. Knowing him, he'll probably side with Gyro for his own benefit, and leave whenever he likes.

and somehow convince the residents of Meteor City to become suicide bombers.
Simply because that would be a REALLY bad situation.

Pretty much I say the Spiders in Meteor City right now are gonna die.

I also agree that Kurapika is sooner or later going to go down the dark path, since he's so obsessed with revenge...but I don't know if Gyro is going to team up with him. It'll probably be a more Hisoka-like deal, giving information to each other, with Kurapika giving Gyro everything known by hunters about the Poor Man's Rose in exchange for the Spiders.

Well that's what I mean. Kurapika will try to "play it safe" but Gyro is gonna corrupt him not so much because Gyro is trying to but because I suspect
Gyro is the type of person that virtually no good can come out of associating with him. So yes much like the Hisoka deal but less playful and more sinister.

Since Gyro men are looking for him he has leadership abilities and his men respect him . I mean at one point he control NGL and that drug empire. From an abusive poor home to being a drug king pin and now outcast trying to rebuild his empire with men willing to follow and fight for him.

If Gyro can develop nen ability and become a better fighter he has the potential to take over the spider.

Not sure about him teaming up with Kurapika. Kurapika wants revenge on the spider...Gyro wants revenge on the world. The spider can help achieve revenge on the world .

As far as I know the spider is just a criminal group that rob kill base upon how they feel without any real goals. Gyro can give them a real goal something higher...

Unless of course Lucifer comes back with power .

I would not necessarily think that jairo is pure evil.

He wants to take revenge of the world alright, but if his men are loyal to him, he is probably not a tyrant towards those willing to fight for him.

It rather strikes me as a character willing to take up a guerilla fight to start a revolution.
If i remember correctling, it was foreshadowed that gon would eventually meet him again.

That would be an interesting new plot for gon after he lost is nen ability.
