and ofcourse if youre looking for something in the anime as well your free to ask that tto. although
bear in mind that this is mostly a manga forum so maybe not all the readers have seen the anime.
but its worth a shot nonetheless.

Fights you would like too see

Hello again peoples! im rereading Ippo for the 4th time here and im at the makunouchi vs saeki fight.
and this got me thinking. theres been a few years since that fight and saeki should have progressed
a lot since then, he was once known as the speed star and maybe he's better and faster now.
imagine a fight between him and Itagaki... that could be awesome! i mean normally every fight turns into a slugfest
after a while but i think a fight like that could be really interesting. it would be a race to set the pace and both of them are really fast so instead of a slugfest we would really see some awesome footwork and kickass dodging abilities
from both fighters for a change, basicly a technical showdown.

so thats a fight id really like too read, how about you guys? any fight youd like to see?
miyata vs vorg? mashiba vs makunouchi nr2? anything goes!

By far my favorite fight was Kimura vs. Mashiba. While most of the fights by Makunouchi, you can pretty much predict a win (let's be honest... in the rest of the series I doubt he'll lose more than one more match), and Takamura... well he'll always win with a knockout punch, and Itagaki, while he had a rough beginning, after the Hoshi fight, I'm pretty sure he'll walk away with nothing but wins for a while (if not the rest of the series). That leave the two remaining, Aoki and Kimura. Aoki I'm not overly fond of... he's too much of the comic relief, but Kimura remains somewhat serious, and his was the first fight that I couldn't predict the ending of. I was really into it, and really sad when he lost.

Good to have some topic about that...just what i needed

I'm looking for the chapter where the anime ended up (after Ippo got the Champion Belt from Sendo)...i wanna follow the manga from that chapter on. Can someone help me?

i would start reading volume 31, its directly after the fight and thats where the anime ended.
so go for volume 31!

Vorg vs. Sawamura, Miyata vs. Vorg, and Miyata vs. Sawamura are my top 3 "fantasy fights". I would've also loved to see Vorg vs. Date, since Kamogawa said Vorg's battle prowess in his natural style matches Date's.

Miyata vs Ippo III

That has to be the #1.

But I'd love to see Miyata vs Vorg, as well. Itagaki vs Saeki would also be really interestiing. And I'd like to see Imai take on either Ippo(in an official match) or Sendo.

Well, I don't know about Itagaki vs. Saeki, but Itagaki vs. Karasawa seems entirely likely since they're both active. It'd be nice to see Itagaki fight someone just as fast as him for a change.

i thought of another one id love too see, Itagaki vs Miyata. and its for the same reason
as my other post. i love techniqal and fast fights. im a bit tired of slugfests...
but they have some charm too i just prefer tech fights.

so heres a few fights id like too see that could happen:
Itagaki vs Saeki
Itagaki vs Miyata
vorg vs miyata
sendo vs miyata
Ippo vs sendo III
imai vs hoshi
imai vs ippo
hoshi vs ippo
martinez vs miyata(even a spar would suffice)

fights that will never happen but could be funny:
Takamura vs Martinez (i know i know... but i still would love to see that )
takamura vs aoki (if aoki showed the same tenacity he had in his title challenge)
aoki vs Kimura (just too see whos the better of aokimura )


thats about it for my wishlist... yup, cant think of any more

Well i really liked to see:
Sendo vs Myata
Sawamura vs Sendo(Impossible)
Takamura vs Hawk II(Impossible too)
Vorg vs Mashiba
Sendo vs Ricardo Martinez
Many people choose Itagaki´s fights but i really don´t like is style, and he don´t give me the same "awsome" feeling that Myata gives.

My favorite fights are:
1º - Takamura vs Hawk - I have read lots of shonen and seinen manga, and i have to admit that this is one of the best fights i ever saw in a manga
2º - Kimura vs Mashiba - A great match and very emotional(Kimura was great in this mach)
3º - Takamura vs Eagle - Who don´t likes Takamura´s fights?
4ª - Sendo vs Vorg - Sendo is my favorite character and Vorg the third one(Takamura the second)
5º - Ippo vs Sendo II - Maybe the secondest great battle of the mang but i´m not a great fan of Ippo.

Best boxer in Hajime no Ippo

Well a poll a little big , but i think that i don´t forget any important boxer(sorry Papaya´s fans lololol)
Vote for your favorite boxer and say why.
My vote goes to Sendo Takeshi, i realyy like is way of fighting and is vision of boxing, it´s very cool when Sendo is telling Ippo why he likes boxing.
If i could vote again my votes would go to Takamura and Vorg, they are both pretty cool and their way of thinking have some similarities with Sendo.
