Your favorite character!!!
I already created a thread like this in the Captain Tsubasa area, so let´s choose or 3 favorite characters from Hajime no Ippo. Put your 3 favorite character and i will make a count everyday of the votes, to see who is the most famous character for the people in this forum.
And i will make the count like this: 1st place - 3 points, 2nd place - 2 points and 3rd place - 1 point.
1 - My favorite one is Sendo Takeshi, followed very closely by Takamura and Vorg. I like him because of his filosofy of fighting strong men, he can´t enjoy the match if his opponent can´t take him to the limits(like what happened against Ippo and Vorg), and sometimes he´s cheerfull and sometimes scary like a tiger.
2 - The second one is Takamura Mamoru, probably the most complete character in the manga, not only in boxing but in his personality, the pranks he does with Aokimura are more funny than any comedy like manga, not to mention the battle of the Hawks, i´m a great fighting fan and i admit that i was shaking when i read that fight, the best fight i ever read in a manga without doubt(and he beat a bear with his hands...).
3 - The third one is Alexander Vorg Zangief, he´s a really cool character, after he´s returning from Russia he was great training to teach Ippo the weakness of the Dempsey Roll for his match against Sawamura.
Voting:
*Takamura Mamoru - 4 points
*Sendo Takeshi - 3 points
*Makunouchi Ippo - 3 points
*Alexander Vorg Zangief - 1 point
*Myata Ichirou - 1 point
