Lets see....right now I'm using a machine since I workout in my basement and that saves a lot of space and money and I'm getting good results. Unfortunately I have maxed out the weight on the machine for many of my exercises so i kinda need to approximate what numbers I'm actually lifting, but I'll give it a shot. Benching: I could probably get 280-300 up. Curls i do 25lbs and thats dumbbells. Triceps are 23-30lbs. Shoulder press is like 220lbs, etc. I need to approximate what I can do the most of because since i maxed out the weight on my machine, I need to get creative and do more reps or different types of exercises for that same body part to get good results. So for my my stats aren't written in stone because I don't have the opportunity to life like 300 lbs in my own house to find out for sure, lol. But I still get a great workout and the results I'm looking for so I'm happy with it for now.
Well for my arms, I do a little bit lighter, cause I like being able to do more reps...when I do a fully body work out I end up ding 3 different types of curls. I do regular, hammer, and concentration curls. Each are five sets of ten reps.....so that comes out to 150 reps of curls for each arm with 30lb dumbells. So I do 300 curling reps in total each time I workout. Also I end up doing extra reps for my left arm since I'm a righty and for some reason because I use my right arm on a daily basis and its much more coordinated, then it gets bigger than my left. So i need to workout my left arm a little more to compensate. So in the end I'm doing like 200 reps for my left bicep and like 150 for my right.
Yea, so thats basically where I am at right now in a nutshell, make sure to tie a rope around your head cause I expect your jaw to drop :p

Lol, if only that was all translated into kilograms. But that weight does seem reasonable. Do you do any thing for your single muscles like your forearms(even though most arm workouts do forearms)

And do you watch youtube for advice

No I don't watch youtube, I learned some things from my dad and then developed others on my own. And yea I do specific things to target muscle groups as well. I do those 3 types of curls for my biceps, I do 2 types lateral dumbbell raises for my shoulders, I do 2 different tricep workouts, two types of ab workouts, shoulder presses, benching, flys, shrugs, 3 types of back workouts, and thats just about it. So yea I do the standard strength training workouts as well as I target certain muscle groups with specific exercises as well. And I usually don't do just one work out for one muscle group, I do more than one type to target different parts of that specific muscle.

Then tell me about your day or something like that, something that've caught your attention lately?
I'm not the one to give you topic, you write something when you feel you wanna share and if there's a thread for that - then talk in there instead.

Why use inactive threads if many people visit the HO thread more than those threads and then your word gets around more

Discussing manga is a no no because usually the manga's discussed have there one forum. But little threads that are barely used should be a acception

lol don't, after that I'll never be able to look myself in the mirror @ the gym while lifting 25kgs on each dumbbell while you're lifting like 198532tons ;(

Because you discuss single subjects in single threads. That's why they are there - To separate the topics from each other. You don't want people to discuss working out, food with bird species in one single thread. That would = mess. The threads are also there to give a more in-depth conversation about the subjects. Of course you can touch the various topics here, but to have a discussion about a subject that there's already a thread for is not going to be happening in here.

btw, the thread is not inactive and I'm not going to take this conversation with you any more.

Blai's text in his sig does not fit in the allocated space, discuss.

And I can do the moonwalk, can you?

I've spammed so much Call of Duty lately I see the maps in my dream and have become sick. Discuss

Boxing now isn't really that good. Back then you had Foreman, Ali, Frazier, all legends in their own right, and also other great boxers.

Present boxers don't really quite compare.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. But it's the same thing with bodybuilding as well. Earlier they were war, natural athletes, they could perform sports too, like javelin throw etc. Now they're living steroid-mountains

Hey Blai I thought we weren't talking about Bodybuilding and working out here :notrust.....hehe, you would have pissed Ren off with your last post, lol. Yea I'm not really a fan of boxing either, like it doesn't have a good feel to it when I'm watching it. Now MMA and UFC on the other hand is some epic sh*t.

Haha, just touched the subject there, had to draw the parallel since it was too clear to be avoided.. And boxing seems to primitive. Two guys trying to beat the shit outta each other.. legally :x Nah, I prefer hockey! Beating the shit outta each other on ice is the way to go!
