I don't know the name of the dish exactly, between my friends we call it vomitar. When I order it, I try to say it in chinese the best I can remembering the way my chinese friend says it, and it sounds like, "gwa tan ow yo fan". Before I used to have to show a picture but nowadays they seem to understand what I'm going for...either they know me now or I'm actually saying it right.

It's really crap weather here, one minute its sunny and then it gets cloudy, then sunny,etc. I just want hot consistency.

Uhm, well, if it weren't for work my vacation would've been great, just great. Well, it's still fairly good, everything's going steadily better! How's your vacation so far? Do you also have that sick heat in Bulgaria as they do have in Hungary? Heard it's unbearable around the Szeged area... And they were awaiting some kinda storm too... was supposed to rain, snow and hail at the same time or something... sounded weird.

I'm having a really nice vacation so far. ^^ Been with a lot of friends here and there. Won't go to the sea though. >< And I really wanted to...

Weather was changing a lot here too in the beginning of the month. One day, it was sunny. The next day - no sun for two weeks. Some storms too. (Blah, I hate heavy rain). Then it got sunny again... for a day. xD And after some rain, it's been sunny so far. ^^ We're expecting a lot of heat too. Something like 40 degrees C, or even more. We're gonna get roasted. xD

Cool! Go to Croatia! My mom worked as a tourist guide in Pula and according to her it's a beautiful place. I haven't bothered to visit that town but someday I will! The Adriatic is beautiful.
I'm kinda jealous but still I'm not? I mean, your heat will be awesome but at the same time it'll get on you if it's that hot for a long time.. But the rain/heat weather is something I wish we could have in the cold north... We had our 35+ish heat in June for 2-3 weeks. Since then we've had around 20 with constantly recurring rain -_-''

One question I would like to ask though.... which is your preferred vacation or which do you guys found more interesting? going back packing on low budget or go on a high budget vacation (e.g five star hotels, shopping etc...)?

High budget vacation <3 I'm not one for roughing it; I love a nice hotel, a relaxing spa, and lots of fun tourist destinations that I can buy stuff at~~


Also, work sucks. End of story. Can't wait for Saturday, my first one off in awhile =D

Yeah, I've been told Croatia is a nice place to go to the sea from friends. Never been there. In fact, I haven't been anywhere abroad. Really want to go somewhere. Right now, me and my family can't even go to the sea, due to financial problems. But next year maybe I could go with friends.

Nonono you can't get enough of rain! Either you're out in it, breathing in this lovely air (more oxygen during/after rain ^_^) or you sit inside, either at the comp, playing guitar or reading and it's kawaii :x

Croatia should be the shit but I guess I have to go and look for myself. Maybe when I get time/money I'll go there Financial probs sucks ;/ Do you have any summerjob? If not, get one or maybe a part-time job somewhere and you'll be able to go with friends before you know it! And it's much more fun to go with friends, no rules, no restrictions

Vacation for me = Twice work, no school. So the only difference is that I'm working instead of studying, and no homeworks either ^_^ And girls @ the beach ofc

I prefer backpacking actually, and low budget accomodations... as long as it's a small cozy inn with some blues/jazz music in the reception and a good atmosphere I'll love it. Backapacking gives more excitement! Not going to the normal tourist attractions but going to see the nature in your own way, experience how to live like the "normal people" of that country.

I wanna backpack through northern Africa or go through train from Latvia through Russia into Japan.

But that ain't cheap either... Give me 5years...

I agree with you blai. Going bakcpacking has more appeal to me too. It's like you're going on an adventure, journey to the unkonwn! Plus it is the best way to get to know the locals where you're visiting. But despite saying that, I wouldn't say no to a high budget vacation if I have the money though.....

I wish I had the courage to travel backpacking....dunno, I'm afraid of not finding somewhere to stay, or getting lost, or...meh >.< But it must be so awesome...guess it's easier to do in Europe, where you have trains going everywhere.

If/when you get accepted to Chalmers? (that was the school right?) then you can go backpacking as much as you want! The best place is paris.. all the cozy inns and the environment is awesome

we just got a new puppy, and she's super cute, but we JUST CAN'T SEEM TO NAME HER. if the mods take down this post, oh well.
