That is a very good point. Twighlight was not very established when released but when the movie came out people started to read the book, and doing reviews on a 2 year old+ book!

I didn't read much into the book since the writing style turned me off greatly. But the book was already in critique long before the movie.

And I stopped the movie after the sparkle-sparkle scene. I can stand splatter and gore but this was just too much >.>

Wow lool. I have been watching some youtube videos about subliminal messages in adverts. And boy are we blind. Even disney, a company that millions of people support provoke sex. It is arkward because we see adverts and we think hey thats normal, but if you look undercover the undercover you see the real things this advert is trying to promote!

I've heard about the Disney sex subliminals, one of them was in that movie with the mouse detectives (can't remember the name) they had a picture from playboy on a wall and the characters moved past it at high speed.

Indeed, whats the point of having so many contacts if you only speak to 10 of them and it is exactly the same on facebook.

Where as on facebook people compete on "who has the most friends" when they only add people they know and not what they speak to.

But the point with facebook isn't to "chitty-chat" as MSN.

The point with facebook is to keep in touch - as in you add your high-school friends and then a year later you can find them easy for a reunion. It's tons easier to add people on facebook, keep track on how they're doing and stuff.

I have around 600friends. I know all of them in person (apart from some MH dudes and enis lol) but I have never competed or tried to have more friends than someone else. It's just a way for me to keep track on people. I have different groups for them such as old classmates, acquaintances, friends from south africa, etc.

The "add people they know and not the ones they speak to", well for me it's a matter of "if". As in, I have a friend in another town, I add him, but I don't speak daily. Its because if I'm visiting that town or if I'm going to be close to that town I'll poke him/her and I meet up instead. I always have a purpose for adding someone.

At least it's my pov on the whole...


And yes, Twilight is bad. Apart from one of Edwards sisters, she's hot! The one with the dark short hair. Oooh /drool

nah there was a bill that no subliminal message should be in a advert, hence the reason why the people who make the advert cover it up so good.

Disney is bad, on the little mermaid dvd case there is something that we should not see and on the lion king when he drops on the floor and the dust rises, it spells out sex!

One can overdo things when looking too closely :/

The only real mystery is the pic in The Rescuers. You can see this pic in two (!) frames out of more than hundred thousand, so basically you can't see it when watching the movie normally and the company called several videos of the movie back just to remove it. The pic was inserted after the production finished, it's not on the original tape and therefor also not on any other copies (e.g. it's not on the German copy) based on it. I think only the US copy has it, if I remember correct.

So, this is indeed an easter egg inserted by one of the technicians but I don't see the problem with it, tbh, and everything else I saw in that directions is just bs.

It is not much of a problem if no one can barely see it but someone did see it and if disney did not sort out the problem they surely could have been sued.
I dunno what for though(what they can get sued for)

What about those subliminal messages in songs, where you reverse the song and it says something else

The close-up of the tower? I honestly fail seeing what others try to interpret into a mere tower design. I mean, of course I see it when someone zooms 500% and points on it with a big red arrow but eh... yeah, that's were my fantasy ends >___>;

As for song messages... language has it that you can reverse sentences but that doesn't mean that those were intended. As said, one can overinterpet a little much. Same also goes for those devil faces in the smoke of the World Trade Center. Smoke naturally forms circles that remind on eyes and mouths, but that doesn't mean that 9/11 was done by the satan himself

They freak me out too, i don't know why, and it's only if i see it on the internet that it freaks me out, although the devil in the smoke thing is just silly same with the little mermaid penis tower.
