What is it about anyway?

You should E, it's a great anime and only 24 episodes long (for now, who knows if it'll get another season).

Generally, it's about gangs and complications in the city they reside in. It's awesome, there's a lot of awesome and cool characters in the story, Shizuo being the coolest and by far most awesome obviously."Dollars" is the "main focus" and a gang in the story. It's quite humerous and all in all just a good watch. It's the type of series you can watch two or three at a time casually.

Do check it out, I feel like rewatching it now actually. It's so great to just watch 1 or 2 episodes here and there casually. They have such a "chill" feel to them.

Sorry no manga recommendations from me. I'm kind of on a dry streak in terms of manga reading..

@goldb - Ok, random manga rec.... I'd say to try Cross Game. Don't let the art fool you, the storytelling is fantastic.

I have to second 3c's rec of Durarara!! It's a really good watch. Lots of fun. And Shizuo is epic! <3
