There's a friend of mine who went to Japan to study during one year and she found Japan really boring. Specially because people focused a lot on studies and never had time to go out and have fun.

Well Australia actually isn't really fun It's more of a place for sightseeing rather than doing stuff I live in Melbourne, and it's the second largest city in Australia, but it's not that exciting
Sydney is probably better for sightseeing, since it has the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. As for fun, Gold Coast would be the best, we have 3 amusement parks there
For natural beauty, there's always the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru

My summer turned out awesome to be honest. I had more plans, but they got "ruined" by the World Cup which I didn't think would take up so much time. But it still rocked hard, I had a blast. My month in Portugal was by far the best time, what a blast.
