I listen to rock mostly but I also listen to House of Pain.And it is awesome.These days mainstream rap sucks balls.But House of Pain rocks,sadly last album was out in 2004:/
And mainstream pop music can`t be called music.I hate it.When people say its awesome i feel like my IQ dropped to 10.
Only exception is Owl City.Synth-pop and its very good,happy mood:)
I dont even know what to genre i listen to most. The only thing that can be said is that i hardly listen to is stuff like death metal and Grime. But besides that, its very mixed

As for mainstream pop, you do get the occasional good song but mostly its ridiculous rubbish aimed at preteen girls who are looking for a heart throb. -_-;

Impotent, you aint been banned yet? :D

As for hiphop today it has more or less been fused and associated with RnB despite the two being different genres thus making hiphop something it's not.
Hiphop artists aswell as almost every artist despite genre sounds pretty much alike, I guess artists isn't as creative or have room to be as creative as they were/had twenty years ago.
Nah if you want proper music you have to turn some stones and look at the underground/indie scene. Pure. Unaltered. Raw. Yeah, that's it. :nod

Hahaha, and dont be silly, of of course they haven't banned me! Afterall,

My sexiness bring all the girls to the yard,
and they're like your hotter than God,
Damn right! Im hotter than God
You wanna touch me?
You have to log

You see, im too valuable a commodity to ban. I keep this place gender even.

And i agree about the indie scene. Im not too upto date with what goes on in the states but here its very strong there are some amazing bands. The Sound of... poll imo has some great artists that are just emerging its not always indie, but usually absolutely friggin awesome.

Who I am? I'm the long lost drunken demigod of this here forum. :kukuku

I'm not really up to date with much of anything lately.
I just sort of stumble across stuff as I go along, can't be bothered with putting down any effort.
Yes, that's right, I've become even lazier.. :faint

Unless your guaranteed a job, dont bother coming. People are being laid off right left and centre. And a friends dad owns a restaurant, it hasnt been doing very well ever since the recession. =/ Incidentally i might be coming to either Sweden or Holland next year so we might be swapping places. xD

Its most likely going to be Linnaeus so Vaxjo or Kalmar, the only problem is trying to get a similar modules to my second year modules, and i have to get my subject leaders permission. He is a grouchy old man, so there needs to be a lot of convincing. >__>;

Linnaeus is a superb university for "exchange students" and international students. What are you studying now? Since different facilities are in the different cities. If you like student nightlife and an alive city, then Växjö is your choice, if you like a calmer, smaller city close to the coast, then Kalmar is your choice.

Växjö = Rain, Parties, Parties, Girls, Lots of people
Kalmar = Sun, Party(?), Girl(s), Coast

Now this got me thinking. Maybe I should spend my semester abroad in SE as well

From your two options Växjö sounds better, but I heard Malmö is decent choice too

Malmö is a very nice town too but it all depends on what you study.

Ive only moved three times in my life. xD Europe is kind of different as you take a step out and your in a different country but its all very close to each other. :p

Im doing computing and it seems most of the courses are based in Vaxjo, so it will probably be there. It depends though if i find the right modules though, as the erasmus is not known as much in Britain. Something like 5% of students actually go on it, and the majority of those are language students so the universities are bit unused to it, especialy when someone says they want to go from a non-language bachelor. xD

I'll poke our International Office dude next week about Växjö. It's a pretty new uni and doesn't have a lot of connections with other unis yet, so they're always happy if someone tells them a concrete destination, so they can work on that.

Mabe I'll be there in like 2013 in my 6th semester... lol

Yeah it was guaranteed that i'd get a job in england, but due to the location and some financial problems i decided to put it on hold for the moment.
