Cyber Monday? Isn't it Monday Mania or something? I don't know anymore; there are too many definitions for it.

I've done all shopping already so I will probably not buy anything at all.

On another note, I am completely broke. :| Will get some money in two weeks but eh, I need more. *runs off to dad*

I am a poor student so if by working you mean working my parents then ill try. xD Its only a couple more weeks until my student finance comes in, so im not too worried. And im broke because of the holidays. D:

Yeah, after Christmas sales are awesome. I'll probably try and take advantage of those as well. But I need a new coat now. It's getting cold!

It's freezing over here as well. I bought a wooly coat from Uniqlo a couple of months ago; best purchase of the year by far!

Yep. I'm saving up for the Christmas sales rather than going on a spree atm. I still need to finish my christmas shopping for gifts though. ><

Hrm... I also need to figure out what to buy for my dad for Christmas. He's the hardest person to shop for in my entire family and, of course, I got his name in the gift exchange. >.> Does anybody have some good "dad gift" ideas?

Edit: @ Jin - Nice! We don't have Uniqlo here that I'm aware of, but it looks pretty cool from the website.

I would if there wasnt a job market filled with undergraduates willing to take anything and people overqualified filling up the smallest of PT work. Private or Public sector, its hard if you're looking for PT work, especially since its definitely an employers market now. ):

It's indeed the Cyber Monday (US) and Monday Mania (UK) today. The day after the Thanksgiving weekend, the day when ppl are spending their money on the internets.

Oh yea, Monday Mania. I was late to "clock on" to that one. I'm not interested in the "Cyber sales" right before Christmas tbh. I know a lot of people try and save money on gifts for Christmas but it never works in the end....for me anyway. =P

Yeah, clothes/cologne/aftershave are out. My mom buys him so much of that stuff it's ridiculous. I was actually considering a gift card if I can't come up with something good, but I prefer to make gifts more personal. Those types of gifts are so much better, imo. I would personally appreciate something that was super cheap, but with special meaning over something big and expensive any day. (Yeah, I know I'm really cheesy. ) Oh well, I'll figure something out eventually. If nothing else, I'll just keep the gift card suggestion as a back-up.
