No, you can buy cloth covers for them. You definitely don't want to use one without it.

Well, she would defy instructions and use boiling water...she even realized it made a weird noise when she poured it last night.

I've slept on top of one before too and was really sore on my stomach for a while. Not a good idea.

We've got a few lying around the house now, but only one with a cloth for it; I always use the one without. Besides sleeping on top of it, I've never had any problems with using one without a cloth.

Really? your family has a habit of using them? I don't know, I let it boil and sit to settle. Without the cover it'd be too hot to the touch to use.

Yeah during the winter time, it's our favourite item lol. I'd usually leave it by my feet under the covers or put the duvet over it on my bed and let it warm my bed area for a while before jumping it. By the time I get in, it's not boiling. But either way, I can just carry it around and hold without too much of a problem. I think it depends on the type of material used for it; I have one( the one with the cloth) that when used without, it feels like it could peel your skin off if left on for too long lol.

They all seem like rubber to me...not sure there could be too many differences in materials.

Anyway, I finally have a day off after an 8-day period. I plan on doing nothing but relaxing today; just in time after my recent bout with a cold.

I would complain about our rainy weather too but we're in England after all. The only thing being that the cold seem to come and go as quick as anything. Last week and a few days before that was particular fluctuating temperature-wise. Also experienced some strong-ish winds. It's actually been okay for the past few days. I wonder if we'll get heavy snow this year.

Because it gets stuffy in the house, and rapidly changing temperature seems to encourage illnesses. I just feel weird when it happens.

So I had to pay for my car insurance renewal this month. Now I'm broke. It always arrives at the worst possible time of the month. Soon I have to service my car and MOT it as well. Bills bill bills and christmas is around the corner.

Over here, it's a mission to actually obtain the correct insurance "quote". They'll send you a renewal document like two weeks before it runs out but then whenever you phone them they love to make all sorts of random excuses to try and increase the fee. All those comparing websites are good but it just drives one insane to get a genuine quote at the end of it all. I spent last week finding a few good deals online and managed to get the time to speak to them on the weekend but each one end up adding stupid random inclusion fees.


Luckily after spending JUST 2 hours () on the phone I managed to get an agreeable fee for "both" our interests. =_=
