So is this really a prank? Not to hate on anyone, but I don't see how this could be seen as "funny" or even remotely entertaining... It's like having hospitals close down for one day "just because", or supermarkets going "nope, you can't shop today, it's April fool's day, you know?". Sounds like some people just didn't want to work on this day, and thus decided to pull this off.

There were hundreds, if not thousands of ways to do something on MangaHelpers for an April Fool's joke without having to remove the entire forums (just look at One Punch Man or Bleach reddits)... Sounds like you could use some sort of creative thinker(s) on those departments.

I'd rather think this is a problem with the server or something, otherwise it's just pure nonsense. What does this accomplish? You're just keeping people from doing what they come here to do, and that has nothing to do with April's Fools.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant, but just wanted to share my 2 cents. Seeing as I haven't seen any "official word" I don't know if this for real or not.

Do you know how many discussions we could be having on the forums right now? Even worse, the OP forum was in the middle of a big discussion over yesterday's chapter before this stunt happened.
