Well I've gotten better through work, learned how to make small talk with strangers etc. Still feel overwhelmed with too many people around me and need to withdraw for quiet alone time if I've been around even my closest relatives/friends for more than like half a day.

Although I was joking before of course: online is a whole different matter so I guess I don't come off as an introvert here.

Thanks! It was good. Luckily I've got Mondays off starting this month (I take one day a week out of my paternity leave) so I didn't have to work. Still, everyone else works as normal so besides the birthday breakfast my wife made me it was mostly just me and my son hanging out.

Did celebrate with friends on Saturday though with laser-tag and paintball followed by dinner at an American-style burger place. Had a burger of 1lb meat with cheese,bacon and fried egg, a beer or two followed by a chocolate milkshake, a key lime pie and damn good coffee. My friends and wife know what I like.

TLDR: I'm a bit of an introvert IRL and both my birthday and actual celebration was good.

How're things with you? Hardly know what you're doing nowadays aside from being all red overlord-ly.

I like the fun forum crowd. My favourite troupe of people here. But it's being swamped by too many people. Not my cup of tea. How has your birthday been so far?

I don't generally watch Eurovision. But I did last year so I'll at least give this year a go as well. As for everything else, it's getting cold, I have the Debunton Ball this Saturday, and Exam Revision time for mid year

It's getting cold, huh? I'll never get used to the fact that the seasons really are the other way around down there. My part of Sweden is finally going into Spring; it snowed yesterday, but it was mostly rain and what snow there was melted instantly - that's Spring in Sweden! No, seriously though, we're having lovely weather now so I'm just as happy as can be.

What's the coldest/warmest it gets where you live?

Victoria isn't bad in general, but it gets a little colder down here in Melbourne. On average in Winter we get 11-15 degree days. Tassie is another story altogether though. I know because I lived there but you can ask Sam, who's a native to the area.

2017 has been the year of losses for Cha.
Started from minor things I can replace to one I can't so easily.

Some times I wish my personality would be less lazy or not give a fuck type until it's too late.

Thankfully (my saving grace) , through all this mess the love of a good woman has sustained me. Luckily I have not lost her lol. Bad joke to say, but don't know what I would have done without her in my life.

We have made it to the near 1.5 mark.
Anyone have some good ideas for a 1. 5 year celebration? Or is these kinds of celebrations something that become jaded? ( over time)

I think I saw some photos on your IG, so it looked like a pleasant day. Some father and son time sounds pretty cool too.

Things are pretty good, work can get quite tiring especially when I have to go out of town for events(like this weekend) but then I usually take the day after off so I can recover and I went to see GotG Vol 2 with my little brother (I'll post about that later in the movie thread) which was a pretty good day.

Well besides forum stuff and general chit chat, I don't really engage as much as I use to, so that's probably why youre not so aware of whats going on with little old me. I'm usually off redding something or just browsing.

Do something special. (Like I have much experience being a fresh adult myself but here you go) Do something that lets her know that you're committed and that you will be there when she needs you

Australia tends to get the brunt of a lot of Stereotypical viewpoints I'm afraid. It appears to happen to England and most of its ancestors.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that one. Heard only good things about it, basically, but haven't seen it yet (wifey hasn't seen the first one so I'll make her do that then drag her to Vol 2).
