Before i started reading Bakuman i had this halfidea / halfobsession, that i want to draw manga myself. Heck, i started reading Bakuman solely for the purpose of learning more about manga. The result. Reading manga - sure. Making manga - not in this live.
The first "shock" i received was of course the whlole thing about the ToC rating. By the point where Saiko went to the hospital, because of healthproblems, i decided that manga is not my thing.
Back to topic. Personally i think, that everyone should, before anything else, read Bakuman, because it will clear 99% of all wannabe-mangakas of this world.
So, has Bakuman changed your opinion of manga, or was everything mentioned there already no secret for you?
