So, I read In wiki that Bloodmadder's Sobriquet is
" Long-Life Turtle ". Does that mean he looks like a turtle?
Or does it perhaps relate to Rak calling everyone turtle?

What do you guys think??

The wiki also explains why he's called that: "Bloodmadder’s sobriquet, “Long-Life Sea Turtle”, is a mockery of both his drive for immortality and his unique combat position as Defender."

I recall a reddit thread that questioned a relation to Rak though. The use of "turtle". Hendo is a defender, Rak has a shield as his shinsoo quality. Hendo and Eduan were said to "form an invincible team" so could be forshadowing for Rak and A.A

The long life sea turtle is obviously meant to be a joke on his specific variation of immortality. I don't expect bloodmadder to have a blood relation to rak but it isn't impossible that bloodmadder has, say, ancient powers as well. Hypothetically from someone related to rak...

Rak, bam and aguero have excellent synergy position wise. Bam and aguero are the best two man team as lightbearer and wave controller. Defender and spearbearer are also a fantastic combination according to the eduan-hendo bit. I am going to assume that wave controller and defender also work's extremely well.

None of the other sobriquets are literal, so I doubt he's an actual turtle (or appears like one). Big, bulky body (as a defender) perhaps.

The connection to Rak calling everyone turtles may be coincidental though. Flower Shrimp? Marlin? Snakehead (a type of fish btw)? Oar? Wave?

They're just named after sea creatures (Hendo is SEA Turtle, not just any turtle) and ocean features.



Natives (like Rak) predate the adventurer irregulars. Though, maybe he's this group's Komamura...

Wiki also said that he spread his blood in the tower to have more children and to make his lifespan longer, perhaps the native ones have a connection to this !

Indeed, If a defender Spear Bearer duo is invincible, then what about one person doing both amazingly? How about Rak being both positions?
