I agree. I also do not see a reason why Togashi would break his pattern of bringing chapters and then hiatussing to come back 'for real' if he does not want to continue at a reasonable pace.

I have no reason to doubt that he has undergone surgery.

Oh well. i wanted a chapter for my birthday, but i ain#t getting one T.T

So I reckon that the teaser for the return of the manga earlier on this year had a misprint. I can only assume it was supposed to read as follows:

If I were to consistently try to make the spiders happen then wouldn't I need Togashi's contact info? Or several plane tickets to Japan to try and nag and beg him to include a chapter with the spiders? They are arguably the most interesting characters in the series.

He should look into yoga, lower back pain really is a bothersome thing to deal with especially when drawing for long hours. It's no wonder he's gone on break recently given his age and the lower back pain it's just not fun to push yourself and make the matter worse.

weeks come and go, it is sad that we have yet another timeless hiatus. I'm truly shock the fanbase is still strong enough for the series to not be cancel.
does viz owns the right in the states?
I wonder how their sales are going

Yes, it said it would only be in hiatus for one week more, so next week, there's HxH Unless Togashi changes his mind again

The things that bother me are: If the problems with his back arose just now, then how will they affect the schedule from now on? Also if that´s the case, then what were the preceding longer hiatuses for? If the problems are actually resurfacing and they would be the real reason for those longer hiatuses, then how come he has not dealt with them satisfyingly until now? Also if that would be the case then why Togashi hadn´t taken steps to ease the chapter creation production on himself by handpicking assistants and negotiating a less harsh schedule? Either way Togashi as of now comes off to me as a person not really caring about the readers or his creation at all.

If he didn't care he would quit, he is rich he doesn't need the money.

That actually just says that it'll be absent from issue 41 to let Togashi further recover.

FACTS:

• Issue 37/38: Chapter 349
• Issue 39: HxH was meant to appear, but instead a message stating that the series would be on break for the issue and Issue 40. It stated there were hopes of it returning in Issue 41.
• Issue 40: No chapter planned, but we get that message above stating that the series will also be absent in Issue 41, despite planning to return then.
• Issue 41: No chapter. Raws aren't out yet, so I'm not sure if there is info about HxH in it concerning what's to come.

No return date has been announce, but since the original return date was meant to be with Issue 41, people assume that it should be back in Issue 42.

No return date announced, I am going to assume that he won't come back till the end of the anime, it's better for me to think like that.
