My big plan was going to France for the Masters but if SAIS could never go wrong I might consider to seek for a scholarship there. DC is warm, right?

Most of Hopkins is in Baltimore, not DC. But it's close enough that there's little difference in weather. We have all four seasons, unlike Indonesia

DC and Paris have very similar weather. Winters are definitely cold.

What I meant was marriage, but if a bear can be infected by STD, I guess herpes could be used as a way to prevent adultery too.

I think I'll be fine. I'm used to be away from family a long time (my father and father side of my family live in Portugal). During my first semester at uni I was only home once for 5 days, although it counts as one visit. But yeah, the feels will be there.

Personally, as much as I enjoyed my Erasmus experience I was happy to be going back by the end of the year. It wasnt only family or friends, it was just being back...home. It's a vague concept but it kinda stretched from being back in my bed, to being back in my city, to being back in my familiar culture. Its weird too because the cultural differences you dont think are huge, but when you settle down become more striking than when you actually imagined beforehand. >.>

Winters are definitely cold, I was in DC last year for a short visit, the place is freezing, but not as cold as Wisconsin, am I right?. Tropical country is not bad Gary

Not as cold as Wisconsin, no. Depending on the year we might not even get snow. It barely went below freezing last winter.

Steins;Gate. Excellent anime so far (3 eps in). I'm as far now as I was before I dropped it last year. I have no idea why I didn't get back to it, I must have been busy or something.

Recommended to me by Niichan, I'll be watching it next. I'm about halfway through Hyouka, a wonderful anime Doraku recommended.

Yeah I was recommended Steins;Gate by someone else before, but now reminded by Kevin. It has excellent voice acting to mention one thing outside of the ordinary (interesting plot, well told story, music, art, blabla). The same guy that voiced Yagami Light in Death Note voices the main character, so if you enjoyed his acting there you'll appreciate it in Steins;Gate too. He has a hilarious way of expressing people's names more often than not.
