The Cardinals did not use that logo on their hat until relatively recently, after the Orioles. The birds on bat logo was originally on their jersey. It is the first logo I can think of that was not a letter.

The Athletics are generally credited as the first to break from more traditional uniforms. They started using green and yellow in the early 60's, when they were still in Kansas City. The really big waves of expansion would come later, starting in 1969.

Yea, the Athletics came to mind colors-wise. And I had no real idea of the timeframe in which the Cardinals came out with their bird either, to be honest.

I was watching Anime actually, and I got through a good chunk of the episode but I couldn't keep my eyes open. Didn't feel like I was giving it a fair shot so stopped.

Sleeping is one of my habits that needs a fix.
I'm currently on a changed sleep pattern, in which I get up around the hour I used to go sleep.
