Christmas has solely become tradition here, instead of a religious holiday. Some families go to church, but mine doesn't. Presents are also highly important, as Christmas is a holiday of charity. Personally I hate buying presents, it's the worst part of Christmas by far. Christmas is a period where people almost seem to force themselves to be happier than they are, sometimes it feels really fake, but there's something about all the coziness that rubs off on you and makes you unable to be in a bad mood. First and foremost Christmas is a period for having a good time, where families gather and eat good food together. Personally I care most about these aspects. Presents are nice, but that was the highlight in childhood.

...well, whatever
