Alot of that stuff isn't necessary. The Spriggan backstories, war gods, devil/god slaying. etc. Pointing out every little thing and expecting it to be explained in great detail is unrealistic.

I don't know if its the last arc, but we do have Zeref, Acno, and August all ready to fight with no one else really above them. Mashima tied up a bunch of the side guild characters arcs this arc. Kagura/Jellal, Yukino and her sister, etc. And most of Fairy Tail has no more left to their character arcs either. Natsu and Lucy's remaining questions can easily be tied up soon if thats what Mashima wanted to do. I'd assume all the Dragon Slayer stuff will be completed when they face Acno.

Absolutely. By the looks of the recent development, FT looks to go the Bleach style of rushed ending. Bleach finished poorly with unexplained plot holes and without reavealing stuff.

At any rate, the manga will end in a shoddy way, no matter when Trollshima decide to end it. Too bad... so much potential had Fairy Tail...utterly wasted.

Something will happen to Mavis and Zeref, maybe they will disappear in the end.
Acno packs his bag and commits suicide not wanting to die to PoF or any ass pulls.
We get our ship pairings and then we see lucy narrating to the end of the novel she was creating.

Zeref and Mavis will become mortal again and either age and die or continue life from whatever age they became immortal and age as normal. They'll likely get married and live along with FT, if not with Natsu. Maybe Mavis or Zeref uses their magic to make August look young again, if he survives, and he lives with them and finally gets the family and love that he wanted.

Natsu will either still be friends with Lucy or be in a relationship with her. Happy will still be around Natsu, and Lucy will be doing whatever she was doing after FT disbanded (I think journalism?) or wanted to do for a long time. They'll be friends with Gray and Juvia still, who are married, and Erza and Jellal, who are probably married.

Laxus will hopefully be the new guild master and hopefully be with Mira.

Acnologia loses to nakamama power, probably with Zeref and others working together with Natsu dealing the final blow after a typical nakamama speech.

August and Larcade plot has already finished moreover Natsu/Larcade scent similarity is settled. I think 25 chapters are too much cuz in just 3 chapters Mashima covered many points in the story so i think 15~17 chapters are left. About 3.5/4 months roughly until the ending

Mavis now is very close to Natsu and Zeref place and a new character will likely join the story next week. Most likely it's an Heartfilia which means Lucy's relevance will be expanded.

FT is not ending, there is not "official" confirmation , in Japan expo Mashima said FT has reached its climax but FT is not ending. Trust me , FT will not end until we see 18 war gods , creation of God/devil slaying , Acnologia backstory , 12 spriggan backstory , others wizard saints , God Serena 4 dragons slayers magics , Natsu and Zeref parents story +we don't know where Natsu was born , Dragon civil war backstory , God seed , one magic , creator of Magic and creation of Magic and Curses , God Ankhseram story. What Mashima does is troll us in where FT is ending but realty is not ending because if were Hiro announce on Twitter in five months before and if he is not announcing that means FT is not ending.

There are just too many things to fill up. It can't end. It may be the last arc but it can't end before the movie releases

In chapter 536 on the cover page it said "until the final chapter 10 chapters remaining". With that being said in the next 10 chapters we will see E.N.D, Zeref's death (or he turns good), acnologia's true goal and his defeat, surely that wasn't the end of acnologia etc, No matter how you look at it the ending will be rushed.
