Cleaning how much to crop

Hi,

I'm new cleaner, I've been working on POCKET MONSTERS ADVENTURES SPECIAL manga from the raw volumes.
they're a nice and clean raws but they're 1200x833 from the source, and there's a much of white space and I've been wondering how to crop the sides and the bottom side (with the upper one of course) to be the same size, everytime I try to crop it I came out with an odd page with a different dimensions!
is there a filter or action to crop the page all the same? like 60px from sides and 40px from the upper and the bottom?

I'd suggest not cropping the white space. It's kind of an aspect of the manga's art, although a minor one.

so, there's no need to crop? even from the up?

Not really. The margins are there for a reason, after all. That's how the mangaka finalized it. I only ever cropped a straight line along the edges after rotating the page to make sure it's straight.

The white area does seem a bit big, but I agree with others - you shouldn't crop it off.

I've actually had to de-crop certain raws before - some people do think that the white spaces are unnecessary, but for a raw provider to be one of them... I could barely believe it.
