I think we should start looking for excuses about why the army lost.
There is no way any of the 4 comanders of the army wouldn t be in deep shit if they loose a battle with 2 squadrons, hostages and eduan things in the nest. It would be jahad's biggest defeat in millenia.

So someone important (lib or masheny) will betray the army or someone extremelly powerfull and unexpected will appear in the battlefield. Another important thing is that the cage will probably be in a war with the lo po bia familly (they killed a branch head and are enemies with yas) so the baylords will probably take their dogs and hide for a while while seeking protection from fug.

Didn’t Zahard’s army planned to frame Fug for all the deaths of this war, and ruin Fug’s reputation in the tower further? They planned that from the beginning so no matter who wins, Fug will be the bad guys at the end in the tower’s eyes

But those smart enough that has enough intel might figure it out what happened. Especially those who are closely watching this war and Baam tipped them off after his fight against the ranker

If the army decides to do that, sure. FUG has always been ''evil'' and will always be. That's how it has always been. But imagine the army telling everyone that 2-3 squadron commanders died. Imagine people hearing that countless rankers and high rankers lost their lives. This is a victory for FUG. Now imagine, if everyone knew all this. If this information comes out, it's like telling everyone that the people handpicked by Zahard himself (the strongest ones ) lost to FUG.

This will further increase the influence of FUG. People in the shadows will believe that FUG has a chance against the 10 family leaders this time around. This is a victory for FUG, it doesnt matter how you look at it. FUG will get more influence even if the army lies about everyones death.

That is why I said it is needed a betrayal or appearance of someone like urek in order to justify the defeat.

Not only for the commanders but for the army as a whole. Otherwise not only will the commanders be fucked but the army will loose too much prestige at once.

The Nest will probably be the first major engagement Zahard has ever lost, period, in any sense of the word, with the exceptions of the incursions by greater Irregulars into the Tower (Phantaminium and Enryu).

I expect it will mean more open warfare between FUG and the Royal Army (of course, FUG will depend on guerrilla tactics because they stand no chance in a straightforward engagement). Gustang will probably begin to enact whatever plots he has in place - he is doubtless aware of Zahard's ability to see fate and I think he's been waiting for a presence like Baam that can disturb Zahard's visions so that he can operate without being doomed to failure. Gustang is probably smarter than Zahard and I have no doubt he's aware of the order to exterminate his family and must have contingencies in place to avoid that.

The LPB Family's standing will be significantly debilitated. The loss of any High Rankers is an enormous blow to a Family in the Tower - we have to think that these are dynasties spanning thousands of individuals, and the High Rankers are the absolute pinnacle of achievement for them. The LPB Family stands posed to lose anywhere between five and ten of them, not to mention the Nest itself and many, many lesser Rankers. If this doesn't stir the LPB FH to action, what possibly could?

Zahard's military can probably absorb the losses pretty easily, but this defeat will shake the hitherto unchallenged conviction that Zahard is a God beyond error.

EDIT:

Baam will also almost certainly emerge a fully-fledged Slayer and will become a warcry throughout the Tower for all those who have been oppressed by Zahard. He was already famous as Jyu Viole Grace, but now he's about to give Zahard a solid loss as a regular. He's already proven to all those in the Nest that he's a monster with his latest feat of teleporting his allies away from the exploding flagship, but soon the entire Tower will know that he is the Thorn that will cut the King's throat.

Well, for starters I think the Lo Po Bia Family is going to suffer great loses that will diminish their overall power, respect and influence by a lot. They've already lost a Branch Leader, and I don't think Yama will leave the Nest before giving a piece of his mind to Yasratcha. There's also the possibility of the 8th Son (the snake guy) being the Floor Ruler. Whether they're going to die or not, it seems pretty clear that they'll fail their objective of capturing Bam and overwhelm FUG which leads to the next point.

The unprecedented defeat of two whole corps of the undefeated army of Zahard will definitely have great consequences. On the one hand, it will boost FUG's morale by a lot and will make them look like more of a real deal. The Tower's residents might start doubting Zahard's absolute power. I wonder what the Zahard Empire will do. They already punished Kallavan this much for failing the mission of capturing Bam. Now imagine two whole Corps failing. I think Adori, Zahard or whoever is at the top dictating the punishments will have to re-think again of Bam's existence and that he's not a simple Regular. He's someone that can change the whole structure of the Tower. Who knows, maybe this will lead to a future arc in which Zahard gets tired of Bam's bullshit and goes by himself to kill him once and for all. At that point, Wolhaiksong could intervene considering Urek's relationship with Bam too.

There's another point I would like to make. The difference between Bam and his companions is just massive as of now. Apparently and according to Charlie's estimations, with only using 1/10th of his power he's already comparable to a regular Ranker, who at the same time is way stronger than any of the other Regulars. I remember a statement during season 1 that foreshadowed that Bam might not be able to continue to climb with the same partners considering his strength, potential and fate. Maybe after this battle, it will be this time. Bam might become an official Slayer and stop being a Slayer Candidate. It's a delicate topic though because some of those partners are among our favourite characters and they've been in this series since the very start too. I wonder how SIU's going to handle it.

And who knows, maybe some theories of some of the enemies like Kallavan and his Squadron turning their back on Zahard after the battle and after what they've witnessed and experienced could also become true and if this was the case, Zahard's forces would become even weaker, while FUG and other opposing forces become stronger. This could shake even more the Empire.

I am kind of divided here.
While I think that people like khun and hockney will always be usefull because of their special abilties it is pretty ridiculous to see fights with baam+ regulars against high rankers. Like what happened with daleet...

Another important thing is that baam will need to keep climbing the tower and it would be stupid and probably impossible to do it with a group of rankers. The only solution we have here is white that is in a simillar position to baam. However hoaquin as white is just stupid. He is just too bad to hang out around baam. They would end up fighting to the death (as they should).

So I think that baam will end up in a team with white/lastClone (it is what makes more sense). The other members are harder to choose. But khun is probably garanteed now that he can even heal/amplify powers and he never was a main fighter...
rak needs to go find his history and try to gain his hidden powers. When this happens he will probably be super powerfull (eduan said so) so he will probably end up rejoining the team.

If anybody else joins should be the yehon girl (she probably went through some super power up when she survived yuri's attack and can be training with the captains) and hockney (he is conected to the thorn).

I will be short, if things escalate in this speed, and in favour of Baam, then Zahard will have new civil var in his hands, in which he wouldn't have 10 FH support, like he has when he first fought Arlen and V. Also, considering Zahard actions against some FH's we can safly assume that Yurin, Eurasia, Gustang and, maybe, Yeon will join or help Baam.

As far as bams companions are concerned I am convinced that the gang will recieve special FUG training like team flower garden. This will be a token of appreciation from FUG for helping them in this war and jinsung will pull some strings in FUG. All the teammates we consider weak are in this war: Isu, Hatz, Khun etc.
Also, considering Zahard actions against some FH's we can safly assume that Yurin, Eurasia, Gustang and, maybe, Yeon will join or help Baam.
The only FHs I see joining bam is probably eduan after he becomes AAs servant after he loses his seat as FH. As for Yurin theres 0 chance she'll join bam. FH know the rules as Yurin is not stupid enough to ignore that Yuri clearly broke the rules. The Ha family wants to use jinsung as a bargaining chip to get Yuri back, like take jinsung we dont care about him and let his (jinsungs) death be used to pay off yuris sins and give yuri back kinda thing. Without jinsung they cant get yuri back therefore they will consider bam an enemy for hindering their plans to get yuri back. Than jahad will propose to them, either kill bam or jinsung or get the bracelet for me than you can have yuri back, than they'll choose jinsung because they won't break the rules by killing him. Ha family becomes enemy No. 2
Baam will also almost certainly emerge a fully-fledged Slayer and will become a warcry throughout the Tower for all those who have been oppressed by Zahard. Jyu Viole Grace will disappear. Jyu Viole Grace only appears to cause shit for the 10 GFs and he'll go back to being bam and playing a low profile with white as a companion for the time being when the crew goes on training with FUG.
This will further increase the influence of FUG. People in the shadows will believe that FUG has a chance against the 10 family leaders this time around. This is a victory for FUG, it doesnt matter how you look at it. FUG will get more influence even if the army lies about everyones death
Yeah, and we'll be seeing the ressurection of the ancient beasts and FUG will begin undoing the walls of peaceful coexistence in preparation for war as they wait for bam to become a ranker. Karaka said that if they win this war they'll be the initiaters of upcoming fights. When the Jahad family loses they'll want a rematch to claim back their rep but FUG wont indulge them as they'll begin preping for an even greater war. Its like the Jahad family will be picking a fight with Fug but FUG wont fight back than the ZaRA will be more radical and use the R.E.D to plant bombs and do crazy shit to blame it on FUG, and this time they'll try trumping any threats. A ranker can enter a testing area if allowed by the test director. The Lo Po Bia family will desperately want to kill Anak pretty bad and the R.E.D will enter tests to try and assasinate bam but white will be there so no prob. Travelling with Anaak will be like hell for endorsi so Anaak will be sent to travel with bam for he own saftety while endorsi will be travelling solo so that her teammates dont get caught up in the conflict among princesses.
If anybody else joins should be the yehon girl (she probably went through some super power up
I suspect she'll travel with bam and white and she'll have the same shinsu shape as evankhell - a flaming orb - and she'll get orb training from bam

The tower at large? I doubt much will change. Most people are useless automatons and/or useful idiots for either side. The jingoists and the .mil boot-lickers will be taken aback at the thought of empire losses. Some will awaken to the true enemy, but most will do exactly what they're doing right now - nothing. Arm-chair quarterback commentators will have lots to say, sure. Team A vs Team B lines will be more solidified politically. Most will just be hot air sources.

All exactly like IRL.

I'm more interested if Gustang doesn't decide to join forces afterwards. He's going to have, or is in the middle of having, his own super-battles undoubtedly. It only makes sense. Yeah, yeah, he's a 'villain to Baam'. I don't buy that short-term at least, if not ever. Many have pointed out that is a mistrans anyways.

I personally believe that Zahard’s image or rather the image of the Army will take a serious blow. But Zahard himself won’t focus too much on that rather he’ll find a way to get his bracelet back, which started this war in the first place. But the question is who could he entrust with the mission of retrieving the bracelet from Gustang’s hand? Because in the hidden floor he entrusted it to his younger self and not some “outsider”.

On the other hand Baam will have a massive target on his back. I wouldn’t be surprised, if the Royal Army will try to target his teammates because FUG is going to shelter him until he is strong enough to defend himself from Rankers.

What I’m saying is basically that Baam and his teammates especially those, who were on the Last Station have bounties on their heads. Either the rankers will target them or regulars who are sponsored by the Zahard Empire will hunt them. Or which I personally prefer would be, if the Zahard princesses are participating in the “hunt” for them and thus tying the princesses arc directly with the outcome of the battle. Another idea would be, Baam’s and “The Captain’s / The Boss’s encounter. And thus, tying the princesses arc with the princes. I think this is long overdue.

there's a big difference between a huge amount of death in a battle that didnt have to happen and was always doomed to be a loss from the start (every battle against zahard to date.)

and a huge amount of death in a victory that shows the tyrannical zahard could actually be permanently defeated and a more free era could finally be possible. so i imagine a lot of people who hate zahard but never thought he could be defeated will flock to fugs banner and zahards army will be looking for a way to crush fug in some way and show that they are still too strong to be challenged.

I think that the war at the nest will wake up all the big ppl that that have been sleeping on the ranking border for so long. SIU said that Enryu would appear in the later part of Tower of God. We also have the other Slayers that have been hiding for so long. Right now, we only have White, Karaka, baam, yama and there are 10 family heads. The slayers are supposed to be aiming for each family head.

After this war arc Baam should've become vastly more powerful than he was when he faced Kallavan a while back. He's already approaching Mid-teir High Ranker level.

If F.U.G manages to get Jingsung out Baam's popularity would become infamous. A slayer candidate leads the charge of F.U.G slayers and Elders and destroyed 2 army corps (Actually it's 3 army corps but technically it's only 2 on paper) Even if Jinsung dies they still destroyed 2 armies. Baam would have almost all of F.U.G backing him seeing how powerful he is while only a regular. I dont think he'd be a slayer only because he's not a Ranker yet but he'd have backing from other slayers and Elders. That's hard to do seeing as Slayers are lone wolves and Elders are stubborn old people who don't like change.

To words: total war
The result will be of such magnitude, that will disrupt all the "current dynamics".

Overall I expect that the war at the nest will not be a total victory, probably new 4 squadron will be very strong but not enough, Rybolic will not die, and the end will be an escape endeavor for Bam forces, trying to escape from the frozen waterfall or whatever.

F.U.G will be forced/pleased to help/follow Bam in hiding, and Bam influence will be comparable to Grace Mirchea Luslec, since will be an almost victory. It will be very interesting see the meeting between Grace Mirchea Luslec and Bam, but I suppose this to happens in a fare future (like 3-4 arcs). In the near arc probably we will see the remaining slayers and elders, there will be no point hiding them from the story line.

Jahad forces will intensify the propaganda (probably they will sell it well for the general public) and hunting against F.U.G, this will give a hard time to Bam, his hand will be forced to be the center of the war and the promised hero. A man hunting for Bam friends, can start from Jahad forces. Also in my opinion, there will be a war between the war for public influence.

But the greatest part will be rise of the conflict between the princesses backed up by FH. In short terms the main actors of the tower will understand that it is a major blow to Jahad authority, since Jahad army chose the place of the fight, it was a fortes never conquered, had three squadrons... the head of the Lo Po Bia family will be in a difficult position... It will be nice if a war on the top begins, between FH, and, FH and Jahad.

Ranker or not Bam will be a slayer, it will be very interesting if some FH try to corporate with him (but probably not), hope that the next ark will be the search for the third throne, or a present from F.U.G. He will be the center of attention for the blue hole rankers. And probably some characters will swore loyalty to Bam. F.U.G will unite the ranks and it will be more Bam centrist, but not to much, and probably their numbers will go up.

i think weither the two squadron are totally crushed or FUG accomplish their objetif and escape zahard.it will still count as zahard defeat and a shame on Lopobia family honor.
FUG will prove that they are legitimate opposition so many will be careful who to chose.it will a long period of silence.
A cold war sort of war.
gustang is already in active rebellion Ha family are on the side line as well ancient creature who are hidden for thousands of years need to wake up from the walls.
will blossom join as well eduan is not on good terms with zahard.mazino lile baam but is he willing to go to war with him.
i think as baam claim firther and meet more fh the factions will be clear but while everybody loyality is in question zahard cant make a big move.unless he take the fight himself .time to wake up buddy.

i think the fall guy for this campaigne will be lyboric since he belong to pobidau family but mascheny wont come out unscathed of course if she lose her sword too.

there is a lot to be seen but i expect baam to kill lopobia fh before he finish claiming the tower.
rescuing the princess will come next and Im sure each faction will play their cards to kill as much as they can from other families princesese in the chaos.

Depends on what happens in the end. The last arc of S2 was similar, people became aware of Baam and even though they didn't get to kill him, they captured Jinsung.

This time they need to kill some powerhouses and keep Jinsung or it'll be a total failure.
