Re: Hunter x Hunter Hangout Thread
I am considering just forgetting HxH exists. All these breaks are really annoying and I cannot really get into the flow of the story. I don't feel like I can depend on him to finish it.
Its really too bad ,
That he keeps on repeatedly doing this but the main reason i been hearing is that he refurbishes the manga volumes with better drawings and fixing mistakes int them
Last few Hiatus ago when he was sick and his chapters were basically toothpicks drawings and later on he redrew all of them(which was most of Chapters 200 on forward) which demands a lot of effort but..
However that is no excuse now , his drawings in the last twenty chapters werent perfect but there werent crappy which means this time he is just taking a break for the sake of taking a break. As i said in the chapter discussion thread he should of at least finished this arc than go on hiatus but he leaves at a cliffhanger which is just plain
irritating . It would be considerably nice that he will give us a next date serialization so fans wont be anxious if he might ever come back.
Also ..One Major reason that i can think of actually disliking the pace of Hunter x Hunter is the ending of Yu Yu Hakusho , he had a perfectly built up final arc which in fact he tossed away for a tournament and than he even tossed that off with breaking the Yusuke's final battle and than having a epilouge that stated happen instead ...which was completely because he got lazy (i know its part cause he got annoyed of Executive meddling but still he could gave it a LOT BETTER ENDING!!!!!) and gave it a very VERY improper ending. This is one GOOD reason to think he might screw over the plot of Hunter x Hunter after all these hiatus he might say EFF it and end it in the most dissatisfying way everrrrr.
But I still have hope that he will stay committed to the series , he was bringing up continuously over the last twenty chapters of the Evil of Man (with Netero's battle ..kinda) and Jairo so i have hope yet for this manga that he might of fill up the loose ends of the manga before ending it.
