But that's really hard to translate to an anime.

While in the manga you can imagine it as slow motion, in the anime that wouldn't work.
They can't just move the characters slowly while the chronometer goes on for a whole episode.

I trust Madhouse will find the way of depicting the speed of the events while at the same time keeping most of the narration. But I doubt it can be as good as in the manga.

that's why I'm only anticipating that- excited to see how they'll execute that part. If they can pull it off, I will check out all other anime by Madhouse in respect lol.

Depends on how many liberties they take.
Anime is hard when it comes to simultaneous events as it's in every film. There are many techniques to be used, but depends too much on the tempo and anime has an added limit since it has episodes of only 20 minutes.

Climax is really hard to handle as well. That particular scene can be a cliffhanger, and that would be good but it would kinda mess with the scene itself.

Let's have hope that it will be awesome.
PS: I so want to see Novu's face!

I wanna see Gon vs Pitou and Meruem's death scene animated. Those were the best scenes of the Chimera ant arc imo

Much as I adore Slam Dunk, I felt at times that worked against the anime adaptation over the manga. If it was rebooted I'd love to see some of that changed to fit film better. I feel with the author's guidance this can work. In regards to NGL, I am very interested in how the invasions going to work.

I really want to see Gon vs. Pitou before Gon goes apeshit. Where you can see the facial expressions and emotions of Killua, Gon, and Pitou. I feel like Madhouse could do a good job with this provided their current track record.

I want to see how they handle Meryem and Komugi's death scene. There were a lot of feels with that in the manga, man.

Secondary, I want to see:

-The royal guards animated
- Killua taking out armies and shit
- Gon's inner struggles in NGL (he has uncertainties with killing)
- Palm, Novu, Knuckle, and Shoot

Ahhh~ I can't wait for the Ant Arc.

In short,everyone want to see the whole ant arc being animated.Me included since the manga art was so bad for that arc...(I read online)
I really want to see how Palm look like.

since her look change radically through the arc.I'm also looking forward to the date. :teehee

I would guess so, because the entire palace invasion was done in narration, in fact, had some very memorable chapters without any speech bubbles, and just pure splays of badass art.

if you would read the tanks... I'm being all fangirl about the invasion mostly because, really, I read the tank releases and fucking hell, those chapters took my breath away. he had to properly draw that sequence to convey what was happening, since the sequence relied so much on visuals rather than text.

Certainly,but I have a problem with the narrator,I don't like his voice...

I would find it very awkward if the anime uses the narrator to tell viewers thoughts and emotions of the characters similar to a novel like they did in the manga during the invasion. That only worked in the manga because of the medium itself being something we have to read. For a TV show, wouldn't they rather just show and not tell?

We don't need the narrator to tell us that Yupi and Shaiapouf are wailing or that Killua is sad when we can just watch it unfold before us with animation and music. Sure there are going to be situations that MH will have to evaluate on a case by case basis but for a lot of it I don't think we're going to be told a tv show through the narrator

So, its been an entire year on hiatus... It sucks to wait with no date of return, And I hope they won't fill ant arc with fillers, I'm expecting something absolutely awesome its the best part in the manga, so many things happening at the same time non stop.
