Difficult to list only a top 10. I've lost my list of currently reading/finished manga somewhere in the start of this year (damn backup =.='), but luckily damage was minimal, for I remember most of the ones I was reading (though at least 1 whose name I don't recall was lost), but regarding the ones I finished, I lost some of them and I can't really remember their names (and they were good also)... :/

Well, I'll just list 10 of them, without a number (besides HxH, which takes first for no apparent reason, right? )

I dot have lists, i only have tiers.

Hunter x Hunter is in the top tier, together with berserk, and vinland saga, and one piece if it gets better gain, soon.

While there are smaller mangas which i totally love, i dont count em in that topic, because it is imo nonsens to for example compare one shots or small series with longrunners,

I loved Anne Freaks for example but i would not count it here.
Also, i do not count anime and mangas together, because it would not be smart to compare Noir which is my favourite anime with HxH as anime.

The only thing i DO count in this respect which isnt an actual manga is Tower of god.

For Berserk, tower of god, HxH, vinland saga and usually onepiece i wait equally eagerly.

But i gotta admit, atm tower of god is my favourite of em all just because it has the bonus of being weekly and having an artist who obviously does not eat or sleep.

When it''s nonhiatus time for HxH it rises to my top place, usually.

I know a lot about different series that I haven't read/watched (i.e. Naruto). I like spoiling myself. :|

Despite that I still managed to get through 340 chapters of Hunter.

I watch more anime than I read manga, but I've been reading more manga lately.

Ludwing Kakumei -> Ludwig Gensoukyoku (Shoujo)

Someone else knows about this manga? From what I've read of it/heard about it, it's quite good.

I love fairy tales.... the dark and twisted kind. All I can say without spoiling anything is that the "Prince Charming" of the different princesses in the fairy tales is the same person.

Read it. It's fun. Ludwig Kakumei is only 4 volumes long and Ludwig Gensoukyoku is a oneshot.

This is why I love about here in the HxH forums most people here love great manga and most of all there aren't many people here rate Naruto high in their list ^^.
Can't really make a list/rank because of most of the manga I read I like but One Piece, Tower of God, Liar Game, Shingeki no Kyojin are the ones I look forward to HxH and Berserk also but they are always on Hiatus.... For the Anime can't also rank them but I like Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Death Note, Code Geass, Monster, Kaiji, One Piece, Gintama, HxH, Yuu Yuu Hakusho there are more but I can't really rank them because most of the are epic

It was funny when i discovered HxH.

At that time, i only knew the anime from the childdrens channel on TV, which were a bunch of older anime lik georgie and nadja and the blue stone, and also at that time dragon ball, sailor moon and one piece.

I got into manga and the first stuff i got was naruto and shaman king and stuff like that, and then, at the same time just a tad later when i thought i knew how manga works i got neon genesis evangelion and hunter x hunter and both at first seemed like the usual stuff, in one, fighting against angels, in the other, it was also about fighting and stuff and adventures.

While i found NGE strange due to the amount of drama and disturbance later on, i didnt see the extent of what it would become until later in my life because it was not translated that far in german at that time.

But i got totally overwhelmed by the sheer violence of the yorkshin arc in HxH.
I mean, i got take the hunter exam arc stuff though i found hisoka really scary at that time (i was 13 and not used to graphical violence at all) exspecially because he even killed the examiners sometimes so i was afraid there was noone able to restrain him, which was even scarier, but that was okay because at least the likeable characters all got away with their lives so i was fine with that in the end.

But at the yorkshin i thought i maybe should not even read on, because the spiders together were even mroe disturbing than hisoka for a kid (again, at that time i was really sensible) but i kept on reading because kurapica was my favourite char and i was incredibly much hoping for him to survive and beat the spiders.

Unfortunately, i was not able due to localisation to read on after the yorkshin arc and left the manga alone for like 7 years until i picked it on recently.

I didnt even think about HxH usually, but i always had it in mind and a strange fascination for it and thought 'well, i should probably read that on at some point' but was not able to find it on the net (due to being stupid and not knowing where to look).

I think HxH was the first manga which totally blue me due to being more mature and cruel, but because of that also being more rewarding than other mangas.
I misjudged it because it had all those cute characters and funny scenes in the beginning of the manga (and ofc later on too) and i guess i would not have bought it back then if it wasnt for that.
Luckily i did and today i am more into the gruesome mangas, anyway, because they tend to lie less about 'the facts of life' than their happy end counterparts.

YYH,HxH,Saiyuki (all)i, One piece, Fushigi Yuugi (all include prequel and sequel), One outs, Slam Dunk, Eyeshield21 , Bleach (but I stopped ), Naruto (same like Bleach), I'm in too girly stuff too like Working!, Vampire Knight... etc...

I'm a HxH fan for 10 years now... Imagine.... so .... I treat other manga and anime, like fillers... Do you know what I mean? Yes, all the other manga anime that I read are there for me to waste time.... I don't know why most of the manga I like goes into hiatus , thats why I am force to read something else, and get a recommendation...

Though I still need to read Blade in better quality, 20th Century Boys (and it's continuation) at all. As for Negima, everything wnet downhill after their comeback from the world of magic ;/

Sometimes I feel the same, about how the mangas I like are like that. Just looking at my list again, I realized that the mangas which had not ended already are all in long hiatus, with the exception of Gantz, that's dragging in it's final moments...
Not to mention the monthly ones that didn't entered in the list. Is it my bad luck or something to do with our generation of mangakas? o.õ?

All I can say, the best manga's on my list are all awarded in Japan (University studies and Cultural awards HxH and Saiyuki - not selected by Fans but a panel of judges), theyre not Fan favorites but stories which have something to tell (humanity, equality, etc). I'm just so un lucky why my fave manga's always got their mangaka's bedridden or under surgery.

In the end of the day I just always pray... please let them all be safe.... That's it...
