Fun Hunter x Hunter Hangout Thread [01]

So, on Saturday, I used HxH for students to practice "Which do you like?" So since these were 10 year old boys, I chose...

Anpanman
Doraemon
Pokemon
Dragonball
Naruto
One Piece
Hunter x Hunter

For the activity, they would pick two photos and ask the others "Which do you like?" Of course they would answer. The one that had the most likes would be kept for the next round. For example, "Which do you like? Anpanman or Doraemon?" Let's say Doraemon received the most likes. The next person will hold up the Doraemon picture and pick up whatever the next pic is (unknown of course until it is picked). We continue until there is one left.

Anywho, to make a long story short, in the end the final two were Hunter x Hunter and One Piece. HxH won.

I am convinced that HXH would have been more popular than One Piece without Togashi's hiatuses.

I believe it deserves to be in the old 'shounen trio' (which I don't think exist now.)

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems that for the GI. Box, they will put visuals for all the restricted cards, which is awesome if you ask me.

Now it's just in Japan. Maybe it will get licenced in other countries some day, but don't expect anything soon. Those things usually go slowly.

I'm pretty sure nearly every first pressing of the boxsets have come with some kind of extra. There were tarot cards in some, Feitan's bandanna in another, etc. It would be cool if they were included outside of Japan, but that all depends on the licensors/distributors in other countries.

(Although I would be extremely interested in purchasing a set of the cards if they were up for sale solo!)
