Silva already made peace with Alluka, which is why he called off the quarantine. The only person who can't let it go is Ilumi, who for some reason still thinks he can somehow take on a guy having infinite uses of the Dragonballs. It's quite clear that once Silva figures out that Killua can ask for anything he wants, he knows there's no point to try to fight the equivalent of God (anything he can do Killua simply wish it away). Honestly the whole Alluka conflict is a joke because if Killua simply told his father the truth, Silva would've let them go for sure. For some reason Killua felt perfectly fine sharing Alluka's ability with a bunch of guys who have treated him far worse than his father.

I don't think Gon and Killua will travel together again or at least they'll form a team or something like that. Killua stayed with Gon only because he had no goal in life, and later because he wanted to stay with him.) He found one, they separated, Kurapika and Leorio too. They'll only be together if they have a common goal.
Gon found Ging now he wants to get stronger and he has Kaito for that. Killua will wander with his sister but I doubt he won't train, he'll have new adventures but I doubt we will see him now.

The major players in the next arc will be the zodiacs and Beyond' s team and also the guys who'll join him ( I am sure Hisoka and Hanzo will join). Kaito's team is related to Kakin so Gon will be involved somehow, Kurapika should be present too. Now that Leorio is well-known among the Hunters and that he shown a little his Hatsu I hope he won't go study again, I doubt Togashi would do that but I really want to see him fight. With the Zodiacs, Ging and Beyond's team we already have a lot of characters. I wonder how Togashi would manage it. It will probably a long arc like the CA one. The new Hunters he presented will probably be important as well.

I have a feeling they're going to bring Kurapika back in the next arc to fill the void that Killua left in the dynamic (analytic character). Though just Gon and Kurapika would be weird... maybe bring back Leorio as well? I wouldn't be surprised if they brought Biske back also.

Honestly, I can't see Killua traveling with Gon to the extent that he has, either. He found a goal--protecting Alluka. I think the next time Killua comes back, it will be with Leorio and Kurapika. I think he'll probably be training as well and teach Alluka some basic hand-to-hand combat and skills. It's going to be weird if he comes back and he's not on par with Gon.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if Togashi also writes some sidestuff with Killua and Alluka, or somehow tie that story in with the main one down the road. But for right now, I think the focus on the Dark Continent will lead us to Gon, Kurapika, and maaaaybe Leorio (break from med school?). I also could see Gon travelling with new Kaito to the Dark Continent.

In my opinion, we will definitely ee some moreLeorio and Kurapicaö
Kurapica was foreshadowed already, and Leorio was searching for him and calling him nonstop, so i think they are a menue.

Leorio must be curious about what kurapica is up to.

Who knows whether we will see the dark continent next arc?
It might as wel be an arc about inding a way to the dark continent.

I'd love to ee some more Biske, she grew on me.
Also, as a prediction: We WILL see Hanzo next arc. Maybe dying quickly like Kite, but we will see him.

I don't think Leorio will fight though. I mean, sure he showed some Hatsu but that was just to, you know, maybe show that he's learned that far with nen. But it really isn't important for his character, even in the association. He's more like Pariston, I would assume. Although he's not the thinker that Kurapica is, he kind of values his intellect more than physicality. His role will have to be crucial since he's shrewd and sort of not innocent and trusting and not too good-natured like the rest of the cast- when it comes to the politics that will have to get messy in the future.

Kurapica will probably show up.

It's sad to admit, but in the next arc I do see a separation between Gon and Killua and it's necessary for character growth. But I do agree with kkck, Gon needs someone smarter than him at all times because he's such an impulsive fighter. But maybe that's also a challenge he has to overcome. For Killua the bromance was really a bit one-sided, or that, he was the one who "desperately" needed a person like Gon in his life. He will try to fill that void with Alluka, for sure, but he'll miss him badly and cannot stay too long away from Gon, is what I'm thinking.

So maybe an arc or two away from each other is okay, lol. Maybe a time skip, maybe not. But if they'll have to have a reunion, it would be so kickass and awesome because they'll never be the same as they once were.

I'm not sure what would be the point of a side story with Alluka and Killua. It'd be like: "Today I ran into 10 guys as strong as Meryem, good thing I told Nanika to get rid of them all on time. That was pretty easy compared to yesterday when we're bombarded by 100 Roses."

The whole notion of needing to protect Alluka is basically self inflicted pain. Killua can do whatever he wants with the wishes he have. He could just wish for nobody to ever have the ability to make wishes and make people forget about the fact Alluka has such a power and then nobody would ever bother him again. Or he can just wish for godlike powers and it'd be pretty trivial to protect Alluka too.

That is why I think his choice with Alluka will only be temporary. I trust that Killua will chase a new direction, and that will involve Gon later on in the story.

No, Killua won't use her power anymore IMO, but Illumi will be the trigger. He really grew on me in the last arc and he seems to have a real goal. I never really thought him and Killua would fight each other but Alluka is the one who can completely ruin all Killua's CD right now, Silva's foreshadowing is still in my head and it's true that even if Killua tries to act like a normal person he really is a Zoldyck and acts as one, he is a little hypocrite( even in the movie we can see Togashi planned something with Killua). BTW am I the only one to think Killua and Alluka will encounter Maha? It would be really great if he trains him and he doesn't seem to live in the mansion.

Um why on earth will Killua not use Alluka's power? He told Nanika to only listen to him for wishes so he's obviously keeping his options open and as long as the option is available there's no possible sense of conflict because you'd have to be a moron to lose with the Dragonballs on your side.

I think people are reading too much into Silva's thing. There's a lot of incorrect foreshadowing in HXH, as in this isn't a series if someone says "A must be fight B" this is written in stone and no possible way to escape it. The Spiders, after all, did escape their fate of being hunted down by Kurapika, at least for now. The whole thing about Silva saying Killua is his son is only he saying that since he's an Assassin of course his son is going to be an Assassin even if he's not forcing him. It doesn't mean he has some kind of insidious plan to make sure Killua will come back.

Wouldn't be fun if Alluka can grant wishes because She has a mortal disease? One no one knows about but her. Reason why she developed a technique that allowed her to grant wishes before She dies.

My prediction for next arc is that Gon and Kite will form alliance to go to the Outside world to follow Ging (who clearly intends to go).
Kurapika and Leorio will likely side with Zodiac in my opinion as I believe mafia and hunter association will not want to risk the danger of outside world.
Killua will not be a part of Outside World arc in any way I think. Also I suspect that Hanzo will go there to try find legendary ninja scroll, but die.

I honestly think that Gon has lost the use of his Nen (at least for a while) which will cause some issues in the next arc. I mean knowing how Togashi works and how much effort he puts into the series, I seriously doubt Gon has gotten off scott free from the consequences of his Nen Contract simply because of Alluka's ability. And I feel that since we haven't seen Gon use Nen since he was healed is intentional and helps to fuel that theory.

But I feel that Kaito has a loooooong way to go. didn't he get reborn as some 5-year old thing? And it takes a while for them to get their memories of their previous lives back. And if he should, it doesn't guarantee that he'll have the same abilities as before...

I think Gon will stay with Kite, to try to atone. He will try protect Kite until he returns to former strength and ability. Also Koala will be a major part of the story, even battling Hisoka and Beyond Netero to a draw and soloing the entire Phantom Troupe and killing Chrollo. That is just my prediction. Also I think that Basho will return and revive Meruem from the dead with the power of the world tree. Also Satotz will start a romantic relationship with Ging as the Outside world conflict becomes sidelined for a battle for gay marriage in the hunter world. Oh yeah and Tonpa will kill Hisoka with a poison viagra.

Don't forget Gyro... is Gyro totally out of the story now? after so much buildup?

I think Gyro is Hanzo's sister.

I remember seeing this fan made stuff about how Tonpa showed up in the Ant arc and instant killed Yupi and he was the 'old friend' that Netero went and see. It's actually pretty funny and not entirely impossible either.

I want Tonpa to return and kill Beyond Netero with nothing more than the force of his ren.
