I was wondering, should we really be worried about the anime catching up to the manga? The pace is 3 chapters per episodes again. IF we assume they'll keep that pace it means the CA arc adaptation will end in April, I know some chapters are short but their fillers are good, very good, there is so much characters, it should be easy.
I noticed also that if they keep that pace without break the 2nd movie will air when ch-265-268 will be animated, which coincides with Netero's attack and the palace invasion. IF Togashi comes back in December he could draw more chapters. Can someone tell me what is his record of chapters drawn consecutively? (Please don't tell me it is 30).

It's 30 indeed He obviously released way more regularly back in the day but he already took regular one or two week breaks even in the beginning.

Togashi seems like a procrastinator, and if he is one as much as I am... I am really addicted to the anime now. I want at least something about HXH every week, the anime is great, without the anime AND the manga, I'd break. That chapter 340, that damn chapter 340 I can't help but think about what will happen next.

Sounds a bit too fishy tbh. From his comments he can't even state the source, just saying that he read it in an interview. One can argue that he/she might have been one of the first to read it 5 days ago, but if the news were real, it would be all over the net by now. Not sure if he/she's trolling or just misread something, but I highly doubt this turns out to be true, too many Hunter x Hunter fans out there who would spread this news like mad otherwise. It's not really like Togashi to go into that much detail about his return either.

I would love that news to be true but no, so far I definitely won't believe it =/

what he said is true but......
that's from an old crossover interview with oda''one piece'' and togashi ''hunter x hunter''.
he did say that he has 3 or maybe 4 arc's in mind.. after the chimera ant arc.

so nothing new.

It was an original ending in the 99 anime and Togashi didn't approve of it if I remember. And according to his interview with KNB author he always write a script where the hero loses, it means he has probably a written a script where Kurapika lost again Uvo.

Kurapika can't die yet. Contrarly to Pokkle he is a main character, we need to know what happened after the YS arc and with that volume 0, he became more interesting(for me at least), the story of his clan will probably have its importance later. Even without taking all of this in consideration, Kurapika's fanbase is huge. I don't know actually but he has been 2nd in all the SJ popularity polls, despite his absence, it's very impressive. I doubt Togashi is crazy enough to kill him like that.

Good point, sorry I forgot to mention earlier that the idea was scrapped. I suppose I've just been watching too many shows by writers like Togashi and I am now fearful everyone is going to die (cough cough Moffat, Joss Whedon cough cough). The yet was another good point. Sad but good. Togashi may be a little nuts but he hopefully isn't going to kill Kurapika. He just may need to kill a bunch of other guys instead so he can satisfy his thirst.
