I think we're going to get Kurapika's return (chapter 339 had enough of a focus on him and what he's doing). Also, I can see motive for him to travel to the dark continent.

Either way, we're going to have Gon there. And unless Togashi breaks his trend, Gon has always been with someone who's more level-headed than he is. Togashi has made it clear that we're not going to see Killua for a while, so he may be sitting out this next arc, but I'm hoping (and predicting) he will bring Kurapika back and possibly Leorio so we have the original 3. I would be very surprised if Togashi doesn't reintroduce Kurapika in the next arc.

And if he does kill him, it won't be until he's resolved his part of the story. Honestly, Pokkle and Ponzu's deaths were horrible, but they were introduced and weren't given enough of a background or story that needed to be resolved for their deaths to feel out of place. Kurapika dying in the near future with an unresolved story would be terrible writing, and Togashi is, at the very least, better than that.

I want to see Hanzo again, in action.
We just saw a glimpse of him.
And i would prefer if he does not die like pokkle.

But yes, i think leorio and kurapica will play a very important part in the next phase of the manga.
It was made clear that leorio thinks about kurapica's whereabouts, i even think the next arc might center more arround thsoe two than arround gon.

Since there are many new characters introduced, gings team, the zodiac, beyond netero's team, and old ones like the spiders and so on, focus has to shift arround. between them.

And Leorio just had far too few screentime, even with the election arc

With the flashback chapters, I'm pretty sure Kurapica will play a big role in the next arc. And Leorio too, I'm guessing. Since they're like husband and wife. Bickering bromance. haha.

I know Pokkle and Ponzu were minor characters, but I really liked them, so when they were killed, I was upset over it.

So I've been re-watching the 2011 anime with my bro and his girlfriend. Right now we're at Episode 29.

During the Zoldyck Arc when Killua is getting whipped

bro's gf: Looks like Killua isn't his mom's favorite

me: No...He IS.

bro's gf: O.O

me: just keep watching.

(not exactly verbatim but it's close enough).

My bro has already watched the 99 anime and wants to see the Chimera Ant arc but I convinced him to watch the 2011 version.
His gf hasn't seen HxH at all though already she fangirls Killua and thinks Hisoka is a creepy pedo. Oh and she thought Kalluto was a girl too!
