it's a silhouette of the epic moment of Gon going super saiyan mode. It's Gon's maxed out enhancer ability. His hidden power unleashed.I don't understand what this is...

Yes exactly. Gyro is only Gyro and he isn't a hidden character.Didnt we see Gyro traveling through the town Gon and Killua were training to fight Knuckle and shoot?
Well in the manga of course the anime only delivered his backgroundstory
Gyro wears a heavy jacket and a hood that enshadows his face.Yes exactly. Gyro is only Gyro and he isn't a hidden character.
Well but we know at least his size and his character and that he is pretty much humanoid, so I think we can definitvely cross some of the living chimera ants off the list.Gyro wears a heavy jacket and a hood that enshadows his face.
In his back story he was in pretty much silhouette the whole time.
Now yes Gyro could just be Gyro and not any other Chimera Ant we've already seen.
However Gyro IS a hidden character because we don't know what he actually looks like
nor anything about his Chimera Ant abilities.
Togashi has made Gyro into a huge mystery despite dedicating so little time to him.
The fact that Ikalgo is still loyal to Gyro makes me worry a bit. Especially since Gyro
doesn't sound like the kind of guy to get along with Gon or Killua.
Hopefully though whoever Gyro is...it turns out better than Tobi Twist.
except his mouth stands out a little bit too far
Take notice that Togashi redrawed the scetchy chapters for the Volume Scans. They look so amazing! Sadly theese are noowhere to be found online. You should have to see it for yourself. So, just as I've been catching up wtih Berserk a few weeks ago, I decided to catch up with HunterxHunter aswell. Mainly because it's getting so much praise when it comes to the shounen genre.
I've watched what's aviable of the 2011 anime and read everything up to the end of the chimera ant arc because I couldn't wait.
And honestly, I have to admit that this series is really something. I'm not surprised people say that it has the deepest character development of any shounen out there. And while Gon is a good main character, just like with many other manga, the main drive for me definately comes from the other cast of individuals.
The Phantom Troupe alone is worth your time, but of course there's Killua's family, Netero, Meruem and f*cking Hisoka (that dude had me laughing tears when he fought Gon in the arena), just to name a few.
Also this story came very close to making me shed tears, which is porbably the highest praise I can give any piece of fiction.
It was the last game of Gungi between Meruem and Komugi to be specific. Altough Komugi alone is such a tragic character that she made me all teary eyed alomst every time she showed up.
The only major minus is the art in the actual manga... damn, some of those panels man.
But since the writing makes up for it and the anime adaptation (at least the 2011 version that I've seen) is so amazing, I can't really complain.
ye but the koala stayed in NGL and had a talk with Kite while the jacket man left NGL befor Morau Nov and Netero even started to siege the nestSize of the jacket is meaningless. It's a silouete, it could be anyone. Don't rule them out that fast. My bet is on the koala.
The new chapter cover seems to indicate that he is an Emitter. By what we know about him I would have categorized him as an Emitter or a Specialist.Anyone agree that Beyond Netero is an enhancer according to Hisoka's theory of personality as a predictor of nen ability??
this one is also funnySpoiler warning for anyone not up-to-date with the current episode.
A bit old, this is. But, OMG - their original voices! :O
By the way, Alluka is confirmed a male, at least in the anime adaptation.
