Sorry if this has already been discussed! I'm wondering if this could be a mistake on Togashi's part or a potentially interesting plot point, but I was reading some old chapters, and Abengane the nen exorcist said in the greed island arc that after a nen removal the beast remains until the person either releases their nen or dies. It was insinuated in the manga that he was also going to go and get rid of chrollo's nen too after the greed island arc. So if he did why didn't chrollo have a nen beast during his fight with Hisoka? Did he talk to Kurapika and get him to release his nen or something, or could they have killed off Abengane to get rid of his nen (even though it could have gotten even stronger after his death). Honestly, it's just confusing me.

Abengane's nenbeasts linger arround the person they drain until the hostile nen is completely diffused.
They can be bothersome and drain energy or even be too difficult to handle for a certain nenuser, but they disappear once the hostile nen is gone.

It's just as @shionoro said above. I am sure Kurapika doesn't know about this since he's focused on the retrieval of the Scarlet Eyes. He thought he'd know it if his Nen was exorcised but apparently he was wrong.

apart from official volumes releases, online it's quite hard as usually teams tend to remove chapters after official French release, also Im not sure it was scanlated from the very start considering it started very long ago. Actually, I do translate HxH in but you'll only find chapters from Kurapika Reminiscences (check on my translator board if interested, those chapters are used in my team Edited Manga (you'll likely find them online) but the scripts on my board are usually the ones i can correct/ fix with official Us when there's some mistakes (meaning/translation wise, but you still can find some typos ) in Eng. Edited Manga releases , also sentences in scans are sometimes shortened due to typesetting issues).

I am learning French atm and i thought it would be a good motivation if i slowly while acquiring more vocabulary read hxh from beginning to finish.
I mean, sure, it would be a premium depressive moment if i actually learned a new language, read through the whole manga and togashi was STILL not back, but i hope it won't come to that <:

Oh, ya, HxH can be hard to understand I just figured that if i already knew what happened and already knew the most important verbs like etre and aimer and such i'd figure out the other words relatively quickly.
But oh well, maybe I will find something else or use the anime, even if that is probably much harder.

Ya. Gotta say I agree with that.
Noone ever said scribbling looks good, but when togashi draws for the tankubons, HxH has nice art.

It is not like the panels are like standalone masterpieces as in Inoue's art sometimes, but there definitely is something about how he designs and what he puts emphasis on that is done really well.

Also, Togashi rarles goes for the 'easy way out' to just get a chapter done by showing heads and speechbubbles.
That has to be held to the credit of a man who is particularly slow with drawing. and called lazy.

In last three years we heard announcement around March-April and new chapter started in April-June. I'd be more than glad if Togashi and JUMP kept this pattern.
